Joplin, Morrison, and Hendrix

Check it out..... I never knew the three of them were ever in the same place at the same time. Janis looks kinda different though....it sounds like her, but her nose is huge. Morrison is too wasted to open his eyes and Hendrix....well.....he's Hendrix.

Well I guess I wanted to see the three of them together so much when I watched that I made myself believe that it was them. I think it was the 3rd time I watched it I realized that Janis just didn't look like Janis. Jim didn't sound like Jim but there were many times that he was just so fucked up even he wouldn't recognize himself. Jimi looked older but other than that it looked real to me.

It's so weird that they all died at age 27, pretty close to each other (Jimi, then Janis a month later, then Jim 9 months later).

 

They aren't the only ones who went at 27 either

Not only looks. I can´t understand how somebody could have notion that she sounds like Janis Joplin. Janis had a strong voice in a high key. Strong means she sang loud with vibrato not only pushed the throaty voice out. Those girl as a revival singer pretty sucks.

Anyway, in reality I can´t imagine Janis, Jim and Jimi during the one performance. Especially first two cos they needed to express oneself very selfhood. They had very different style of singing.

 

I'd say the Morrison impersonation was the best. the Janis one I didn't care for, and the Jimi was way too caught up with the gimmicks. the Hendrix one I'm extra critical on because I'm a Hendrix junkie, naturally.
