I've always liked Blue a lot.

 

i have never heard one joni mitchell album, i will have to look into her.

Blue is my favorite, but I also like Ladies of the Canyon, Clouds, Song to a Seagull, and For the Roses A LOT!!!

Hejira is actually my least favorite early Joni album.

 

I just feel the need to post this somewhere. I've met the guy who cut's Joni Mitchells grass....I've been hyped up about it for a few weeks or so

Court And Spark is a masterpiece, if nothing else than for "Down To You". BLUE is also excellent, and "Paprika Plains" from DON JUAN'S is likewise incredible. Joni is one of the greatest songwriters ever.....

 

I'm such a "wannabee" fan... I only have the greatest hits album. I need to hear some of her other stuff. It's so embarissing to say you're a fan of an artist when all you have is the greatest hits album.

 

Well, dayyummnn, girl! Go and get Blue or Court and Spark. They're perfect for the beginner Joni fan.

Blue is my fav, Ladies of the Canyon is 2nd, and Court and Spark is my 3rd favorite. I never heard Song to a Seagull or Mingus
