John lennon is by far the coolest man that ever lived! He not only was a great singer, but a Great person! Who ever that mean was that killed him needs to die if not dead already! John lennon rocks and so did his music.. he was also a awesoem hippie!
I looked through all of the OPs posts...and they remind me of me a couple of years ago. There's nothing wrong with liking Lennon or trying to be a "hippie"...but remember these things... 1)There aren't REALLY any more hippies. 2)Actually look up shit about someone before you say they are your hero, if you had done so, you would know who killed Lennon(Mark David Chapman), and that he is still alive. 3)Using the word hippie over and over and over makes you sound like a try-hard.

wow ya'll are a little harsh on Lennons_Lover. That is not what we're about. There may be some things that she needs to learn about Lennon, but damn, don't lash out at her because of it. Help her learn.
You're right, maybe we were a little harsh. Really though, she should learn things before she acts like she knows what she's talking about. I really wasn't trying to sound too rude though, and I apologise Lennon_lover. Fuck I'm baked....
But he's a great one. Certainly a legendary historical figure. He wrote of ideals in pop songs, that are eternal, profound, spiritual concepts. He boldly told us that we are screwed up, and how. Not afraid to raise controversy, he was a definite news magnet. Give peace a chance. Love is real. Imagine no religion, possessions, countries.... He laid it out there for all to see. I remember when he died, some local church ministers wrote articles in our paper denouncing him. My friend and I went to one of the churches and told the minister to his face that we didn't appreciate that, then we signed his name in the guest book.
