Hehe.... well, I know that. I don't really like any politicians either. Al Gore is an exception though but just because of his environmental work, which really doesn't relate to politics (okay, in a way it does).
pressed rat likes al sharpton! anyways, I dont think al gore is running..... he is just going around spurting off the same rhetoric about global warming
No, he will be. I'm 95 percent sure of it. It's perfect, he lets the other candidates battle it out... stays out of the spotlight and then jumps in at the last minute- his name unharmed and he'll have the backing (money) to do it. Plus he's made very sure that even though he hasn't announced he is running yet, he is staying in the spotlight and gaining lots of approval. (Plus he never DENIES he's going to run when asked- he just doesn't confirm it either)
I liked Al Gore until I read that his home uses more electricity than 20 average american households per year. Also, he drives SUVs. Practice what you preach. I love John Edwards. He reminds me of Clinton. He appeals to middle-class America without having Bush's downfall of sounding like an eigth-grade dropouy who just finished his third bottle of Miller Highlife
bush's home in texas is very eco friendly...does that mean hes good? i get the practice what you preach thing...i'm just playing devils advocate here a little
Yes, isn't it nice how Gore is using fear-mongering to scare everyone into submission so those behind him can push their agenda? Meanwhile, he owns four or five mansions and flies all around the globe in his own private jet. I cannot stand hypocrites, especially elitist hypocrites. Gore cares about the environment about as much as I care about him. Don't allow yourselves to be duped, people.
Why? I agree global warming isn't all manmade but you don't think it has something to do with it at least?
Did not know those things. Can't say they especially surprize me though. I still like how he is trying to change policies though by taking things to congress but this information does change my opinion of him to a certain degree.
Yeah, George Bush and friends are soooo much better then Al Gore would be.... who btw, voted against the war from the start.
well that's cute and simple, but are you actualy boycotting soverignty? as opposed to say, letting human coerciveness fall where it may out of a paranoia of otherwise running out of an endless supply of material to complain about? =^^= .../\...
None of Bush's friends have a chance at being the next Republican president. I'm thinking more on terms of Rudy... he's more of a libertarian than anything, I like Rudy. It's gonna be Obama or Hillary anyhow... I guess Obama wouldn't be all that bad... But yes, like Matt says... they are all cunts.
How is he Libertarian? With his aggressive crime-preventing and criminal-tracking policy of the late 90's, he is much closer to a liberal authoritarian than anything. The only policy of his that seems remotely Libertarian is his stance on illegal immigration.
