Okay, so this thread is going to be dedicated to my dread progress. Here are some pictures. I stopped combing 3 days ago. So this can be the "start" point of the time line, I guess. I kind of look like a caveman :beatdeadhorse5:
Yeah. I've found some, mostly in the back. It seems to be going pretty well so far. My hair has always had a natural tendency to dread itself, I just never let it takes it's natural course.
you have almost the same hair as me except mine isn't as long... I havent combed in a week and i have some started but around my neckline and ears i kinda have a big curly mess since its not long enough to hang down.
they will definately dread fast when u see progress in 3 days ya can expect dreadlets in 3 weeks ..not all over mind ya youy'll get 1 here and there at 1st but when u find your 1st dread baby you will be excited..can take months for it all to dread but i,m really thinking in 2-3 weeks you'll have actual dread babies being born (lets see if thats an actual prediction or not))
I'll be sure to let you know. I'm thinking of posting weekly photos for the first couple months. Thanks for all your advice also. I've taken all of it and read just about everything on here you've posted, at least what I can find.
I wore a bandanna yesterday instead of a beanie, and I could feel the weight of each of the sections as I turned my head and my hair moved -- it was very exciting. It's starting to clump up nicely. My hair seems to be generally sectioning into nice sections and is just beginning to mat up at the top, I think.
Okay. Here's my Week Two update. Things seem to be going along quite well. Side View One of the ones in the front that's starting to lock up.
