jerry guitar effects question

    i was wondering if anyone knows the guitar pedal jerry used most when he was with the dead, my band and i want to try to get the same sound as he did, so if anyone knows i would greatly appreciate it

    ....he used the Mutron pedal alot....like for that rubbery sound in Estimated Prophet. here's its decription from the manufactuer:

    the "Jerry" sound is more about the amp......though he had some limited efx in the early days, he never really used them and they only delt with envelope and eq....not very strong efx....its the amp...
