Beadle's Not About anymore

 

Shame, I liked him when I was a kid, always used to watch You've Been Framed....

 

Beadle's About was some of the funniest stuff on TV. Cruel? Yep. Occasionally ridiculous? Yep. Piss-yer-pants funny? Hells yea.

 

I used to like the one where they sat on stools. I can't remember much more about it than that they sat on stools, but I was only a toddler at the time.

I liked him too when I was little, Beadle's About was always fun.

 

Sad, he wasnt old I remember watching Beadles About and singing along with the tune as a kid

 

Y'know I actualy owe that fellow rather a great deal. He was after all one of the main instigators in bringing the Grateful Dead to these shores in 1990, which those that know me would realise was a rather dramatic moment of existence for me.

 

Jeremy Beadle. Much better than Jeremy Clarkson, in my honest opinion. Beadle was one of my favourite tv hosts when I was a kid. Jeremy played host to Beadles About and the well known You've been framed. I remember watching these shows on a Saturday night when tv was good. I still miss LWT, because they pulled out all the stops to bring us the best of Weekend tv. Nowadays it is pointless tv. Jeremy was a real tv gem of the 90's.

Apparently he died peacefully. He will greatly be missed.

 

I was really shocked I found out this morning, like most people here I remember him from programmes like "you've been framed" very sad indeed. I hope he rests in peace

 

I got my first e-mail with Jeremy Beadle jokes this afternoon, I was wondering how long it would take...

 

I caught the news on five. I too couldn't believe it. A real shame.

Apparently Jeremy Beadle requested to be recycled into compost on his garden. ITV sources say he could be back in early autumn with 'Watch Out, Beadles a Sprout'.

 

Oh dear. Someone was on about this at work today, but I didn't catch everything they were saying, figured it was a joke. I laughed :O

News is coming through that Jeremy Beadle did not die due to an illness. He was shot in a card game after he put a dodgy hand on the table.

ITV are screening Jeremy Beadle's cremation next week and are calling it You've Been Flamed.

The funeral service for Jeremy Beadle has been arranged. It's a quiet family only service with a small finger buffet afterwards

Jeremy Beadle's lawyer is having difficulty reading his will, as apparently it was written in short hand

How does the coroner know what time Jeremy Beadle passed away? 'Cos the little hand was pointing to the big hand.
