Just when I thought we were finished with the snow, we get more. It's coming down pretty hard out there, too.

I know how you feel, back to back 8 (48) degree days, and now this??? granted there were heavy winds which knocked down the warmth factor here....but snow overnight? ughhh.

I mean, Portland isn't to bad right now..most of the snow we have had (about 120 inches this winter) has melted....but apparently, parts of Maine are so bad, you can't even see out of the first story windows (so folks close their blinds for the winter to avoid feeling claustrophobic). Snow in those areas won't be gone till June....thanks global warming for making your way to Maine....

so now, I am drinkin sebago IPA to forget about the fact that there may be snow on the ground in April....

for me...a minikeg of spaten premium lager....mmmmm....

still i should have got the 5 liters of schwarzbier...i forget the brand....but that sounds more up my alley tonight than this. regardless, i love spaten and am quite happy with having it.

beats the hell out of killians, and is actually several dollars cheaper to get a minikeg of this compared to one of killians!

same thing happened here. one week of snow in january, then nothing, all hope lost. a week or two of nice sunny days (still cold) and suddenly, this wekeend, a foot of snow overnight, then it kept snowing for a few days, and now it's starting to melt again.

i wish i was on top of the hill where it does every once in a while. last time i lived up there it droped 8 FEET of snow overnight on 2nd of JUNE! and it was one of those years that was late getting started and not otherwise really all that heavy total percipitation wise.

if i haven't posted this before, there's a picture of what the house i was living in looked like along about then. we had these wooden snowsheds to walk through connecting all the houses and a forever set of stairs from inside of them, through a snowshed too, up to the road.

It's gonna be in the 70's here today. Next week they say it will be in the 50's again. At least you fuckers have a constant state of cold. It's hot here one day and cold the next. Mother nature is having hot flashes down here.

I was happy that I got to wear my jacket today that I made out of human hair, not my hair either...

I enjoy when it rains, but I really hope we get a thunderstorm or two today, but I doubt it...
