The Son was so good, and gave such good thoughtful gifts. Right now, posting he got me a wireless mouse...something I'll LOVE and use forever. A nice, good sized cutting board and professional measuring cup or cup thing... really nice. And he added money to the Amazon account. That is always wonderful.

I hosted for the first time this year, not voluntarily, it was kind of dumped on me because my mom couldnt host. And I've spent the last few days cleaning, bitching a little, maybe a couple of meltdowns whatever dont judge..lots of stress in general...but now I feel sad everyone is gone already. It was actually pretty fun. And now I have nothing left to do.

I forgot about raising hope, that was a great show! I may have to rewatch it now

The guy that thinks he is in a sitcom on raising hope is possibly the best storyline in all of sitcom history.

In other news I am at an old friends house....he isn't old he has just been a friend for over 20 years. And was my cousins friend maybe since they were in second grade.
So he has Christmas gathering and tells me (family is still over) so I spend an hour driving around looking for a place to watch the football game. He tells me everyone left I can come over. I show up and tell him all the local bars were closed so he says "you could have just come over" I'm like hell no that's awkward with all your family I don't know. Turns out it was just his mom who I know well, his sister who I went to school with. His brother who was there everytime I went over his house and his aunt who I met once. And boyfriends and girlfriends.
Shit it wouldn't have been awkward being I knew everyone already.
So then he gets a call from his new kind of girlfriend...they are still in the 'what is this' stage of the relationship. And no blame to him going out to her house to have some sex but now I am here by myself.
Well I got some good beer and free beer if I want his. He also offered me all his leftovers.
But yeah, just having a beer and watching Denver get crushed.

ive noticed lots of members do that with threads after they have been here for awhile...they disregard the strangers and post to the twenty regulars they see in every thread....they personalize the thread and the website unto themselves........I made the connection to the thread because I had just heard the news minutes before...however reading the title in 3 weeks and it will mean nothing to anyone and will never be found in a search

 

I think it is incredibly sad this talented 53 yo is now gone. I've read such kind things about him from other musicians, and that is not necessarily always the case.
