The Prophet Muhammad said: {Whoever has killed a person having a treaty with the Muslims shall not smell the fragrance of Paradise,…}​

The prophet said (PBUH): the biggest of Al-Kabair (the greatest sins) are: (1) To join others as partners in worship with Allah, (2) to murder a human being, (3) to be undutiful to one's parents (4) and to make a false statement or said to give a false witness.​

Quraan: anyone who murders any person who had not committed murder or mischief in the land, it shall be as if he murdered all the people. And anyone who spares a life, it shall be as if he spared the lives of all the people. Our messengers went to them with clear proofs and revelations, but most of them, after all this, are still transgressing.​

Regarding the Quraanic verses which order Muslims to kill ​

There are verses calling on Muslims to defend themselves. However, each one is likewise qualified and limited in scope they cannot be interpreted as giving a Muslim free license to kill anyone, anywhere, for whatever reason. I would like to tell you something to make you understand what I mean by Muslim scholars have analyzed these verses again and again, taking into account the scriptural and historical context of the revelation.​

The Quraan is the real word of Allah, which was delivered by the Angel Gabriel (Holy Spirit) to Muhammad, peace be upon him. Prophet Muhammad, PBUH, memorized the verses he received and recite them to his companions, who happened to be with him. He then ordered them to immediately write the verses down. The Quraan is the last Allah's Scriptures which Allah revealed in the installments over a period of twenty-three years. It is one of the fundamental sources of the Islamic teachings. Some of its surahs (chapters) and verses were revealed at Makkah, and the rest thereof were revealed at Madinah. ​

Myself, I buy newspapers which are from the Arab countries, they wrote several times that the KSA killed yesterday such and such of numbers of Muslim terrorists and their names are such and such and they put their photos and how did the fight between the police and the terrorists take place. ARE Wersterm media publishing such news! Focusing on such news! or rarely! However, Actually KSA's channels specify many programmes regarding terrorism and the Muslim Sheikhs are the Hosts of these programmes. See what happened in Jordan last year, a Muslim man is he who led the police to the place of residence for those stupid terrorists and by that Muslim they found their passports. I wish they will become extinct, Amen.​

on Wednesday,28th of Dec 2005, 5 Saudi policemen has been killed in KSA, and the terrorist has been arrested his name is '' Muhammad Abdul Rahman Al-Swailmee'' plus, on Thursday, 29th of Dec 2005, the KSA police killed 2 of the terrorists and they posted their dead bodies' photos in the newspapers. Plus, a Kuwaiti court judged to execute 6 of the terrorists.​

If you watched (abc) news on the 29th of July 2005, they broadcasted an interview with (Shamel Basaieeve) a Moslem terrorist like Osama in Sheshan (Russia). Did you hear what he said? Jordan executes two al Qaeda activists​

Two men were executed by hanging on Saturday for the killing in Amman of an American diplomat. Laurence Foley, a 60-year-old administrator of U.S. aid programs in Jordan, was assassinated outside his Amman house on Oct. 28, 2002.​

According to the AP, Jordanian authorities have blamed al Qaeda in Iraq's leader, Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, for Foley's murder. ​

The two are Salem bin Suweid, a Libyan, and Yasser Freihat, a Jordanian. ​

Report: Saudi Arabia foils another attempt to attack oil refinery​

Saudi security forces have thwarted a car bombing at an oil refinery, a local daily reported on Wednesday. According to the report, security agents along with special forces surrounded on Tuesdaya a house within a residential area in the eastern city of Abqaiq, and seized two vehicles loaded with explosives. ​

Investigators believe the cars were prepared for a suicide bombing, al-Riyadh newspaper reported. Bombs, rifles and ammunition were also found. The owner of the house was arrested and was to be interrogated, the newspaper added.
​

An official statement on Wednesday said that eight people were arrested. "The security forces have arrested eight who are directly linked to that cell (Abqaiq)," a ministry statement said, adding that it would not identify the suspects arrested.
​

​

Last month, Saudi Arabia foiled an attempted car bomb attack against the Abqaiq oil refinery. Two two attackers detonated their vehicles and killed themselves following a gunfight.
​

Syrian anti-terror forces killed Tuesday "terrorist" Mohammed Ali Naseif and his aide during an armed clash, which took place in al-Zabadani, located at Damascus countryside. Naseif is considered one of the main wanted men in relation to the Jund al-Cham (Soldiers of Levant) organization - a branch of al Qaeda in Syria.

"The security forces confiscated guns and documents provoking for extremisin and terrorism acts in addition to a computer," an official source told SANA, noting that one solider was slightly wounded during the clash.

Saudi Arabia: At least five suspected al Qaeda members killed in clash​

Saudi security forces early Monday killed at least five suspected al Qaeda members believed to be connected in a foiled attack on the world's biggest oil processing complex in Saudi Arabia, a news report said. ​

The Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya television quoted Saudi security sources as saying the forces clashed with the gunmen for about two hours in a suburb of Riyadh, killing five people suspected of being part of the cell that attacked the Abqaiq complex. ​

On Sunday, an official source at the Saudi Ministry of Interior identified the two perpetrators of Friday's bombing attack on Abqaiq industrial factories as Mohammed bin Salih bin Mohammed Al-Ghaith and Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Ibrahim Al-Tuwaijri. ​

According to SPA, they both belonged to the "deviating group" and were wanted by security authorities and on a list of the wanted previously announced. The deaths of the two meant that only four remain at large of the list of 15. ​

The source pointed out that after examining DNA of parts of their bodies, the authorities identified the perpetrators, each one in a car. ​

The attack was carried out by two Pickups painted in white and each one was equipped with more than one ton of Nitrate Ammonal along with highly explosive materials including RDX, PITN and Nitro Glycerin, the source stated after examining the results of inspection and primary technical reports. ​

Yemen president says three Al-Qaeda fugitives surrendered​

Three of 23 suspected Al-Qaeda members who escaped from a local prison in have surrendered and contacts are underway with others to persuade them to follow suit, Yemen's President Ali Abdullah Saleh has disclosed.​

The escape included the masterminds of a deadly bomb strike on a US destroyer in Yemen in 2000. "There are contacts with the escapees, and some of them surrendered to security authorities," Saleh told the London-based daily Al-Hayat Sunday.​

​

"So far three (have turned themselves in), and there are contacts with the remainder, who are inside (the country) ... They have not left Yemen," the Yemeni leader stressed.​

​

One of the escapees was Jamal Badawi who was serving a 15-year sentence for the 2000 bombing of the destroyer USS Cole off the southern port of Aden, in which 17 US sailors were killed. "They (those still on the run) want to turn themselves in. Most were convicted in courts and have served more than half their sentences ... There are now contacts with the political security and national security agencies (aimed at bringing about) their surrender," Saleh said.​

One inmate dies in riots at Jordanian jail

Jordan's security forces stormed a Jordanian prison Thursday to quell a riot, after prisoners held two police officers, Al-Jazeera satellite network reported.​

One prisoner was killed in the clashes while 15 police and 20 inmates were injured, the government said. A security official confirmed there had been an "incident" at Qafqafa prison. One of the prisoners, Abed Shihadeh al-Tahawi, told Al-Jazeera by cell phone that the prisoners were holding two police officers.
​

Al-Tahawi is serving three years in jail for plotting strikes against the American and Israeli embassies in Jordan in 2004. Al-Jazeera said Qafqafa prison holds 34 Islamist prisoners. The prison, near Irbid, about 50 miles north of Amman, is one of six in Jordan.
​

Clashes lasted several hours before police regained "total control" of the prison, a government sources conveyed.
​

A few weeks ago, captives rioted at three Jordanian prisons, but the 14-hour standoff ended without major bloodshed.

An Egyptian al-Qaeda member wanted for his role in the 1998 bombing of the US embassy in Kenya has been killed in a raid by Pakistani forces, a Pakistani cabinet minister has said.

Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, Pakistan's information minister, named the man as Abdul Rehman, one of the aliases used by Muhsin Musa Matwalli Atwah, for whom the US has offered a $5 million reward.
​

"He was involved in the Kenya bombing," Ahmed said on Thursday evening.
​

Pakistani military sources said Atwah was killed along with six other Muslim fighters in a missile attack by Pakistani Cobra helicopters on their hideout in North Waziristan tribal region just before midnight on Wednesday.
​

Egyptian-born Atwah, 41, has been indicted in absentia in the Southern District of New York for his alleged involvement in the bombings of the US embassies in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, and Nairobi, Kenya, on August 7, 1998, the FBI's website says.

Suspected al-Qaeda hideouts are the target of Pakistani raids​

It described his location as being in Pakistan.

Wednesday's raid was the latest in a series of operations by the Pakistani army in the last few weeks against suspected fighters in lawless North Waziristan.

Five held over Saudi oil attack​

The Saudi authorities say they have arrested five people linked to a failed al-Qaeda attack on an oil facility in the country earlier this year. ​

Two fighters were killed in the attack after Saudi security forces fired on bombers attempting to drive two cars packed with explosives through the gates of the facility.​

Saudi television aired parts of a tape apparently made by the attackers showing them preparing the two vehicles used. ​

It said the tape and about 1.5 tonnes of explosives were found in a depot outside the capital, Riyadh, last week.​

It also showed pistols, assault rifles, a computer and various videotapes it said were recovered by police.​

One of the five people arrested is reported to be on Saudi Arabia's most wanted list.​

The attack in Abqaiq, the world's largest oil facility, was the first major strike in Saudi Arabia since bombers tried to storm the interior ministry in Riyadh in December 2004.​

The prospect of a direct attack on Saudi crude facilities has long concerned nations heavily reliant on Saudi oil.​

The kingdom accounts for around a sixth of the world's oil exports, supplying 7.5 million barrels a day.​

Yemen jails Islamists for plot to kidnap Americans​

SANAA (Reuters) - A Yemeni court jailed 14 Yemeni Islamists on Wednesday for planning to kidnap Americans to negotiate the release of prisoners.
​

The state security court in Sanaa handed down jail terms of between 18 months and seven years to the men, who were also convicted of plotting to attack military and security installations in Yemen.
​

The defendants were not charged with belonging to al Qaeda.
​

"Unjust, invalid!" screamed some of the defendants' relatives as the judge pronounced the verdict. The men chanted Islamic hymns.
​

During the trial, the defendants said they had been planning to travel to Iraq and fight a holy war against U.S.-led forces there. They denied all the other charges.
​

Scores of tourists and foreigners working in Yemen have been kidnapped over the past decade by tribesmen demanding better schools, roads and services or the release of jailed relatives.
​

Yemen has vowed to crack down on kidnapping and has already put to death two convicted hostage-takers this month.
​

The impoverished country hopes to boost its tourism, but attacks by al Qaeda linked militants and kidnappings by disgruntled tribesmen have scared off many travelers.

Egypt breaks up suspected terror cell

The Egyptian government says it has broken up an Islamist group that was planning a number of bomb attacks.
​

The interior ministry said in a statement on Wednesday that the organisation, calling itself the Victorious Group, had members in suburbs northeast and south of the capital.
​

"Information, documents and interviews ... confirmed that they were studying carrying out terrorist operations against tourist targets, the gas pipeline on the Greater Cairo ring road and some sensitive sites through bombings," it said.
​

"They were also studying targeting some Muslim and Christian religious figures and ... what they called degenerate youth in tourist areas," it said. (Steven: see they Muslims' enemies too)

The statement listed 22 members led by Ahmed Mohamed Ali Gabr, 26, a humanities student. It did not say how many had been arrested.
​

​

It said they had downloaded information from the internet on how to make explosives and poisons. It did not mention any weapons.
​

But a spokesman for the opposition Muslim Brotherhood said the interior ministry announcement was predictable.
​

​

"The government is going to announce such operations to justify the extension of the state of emergency," Hamdi Hassan said.
​

​

Emergency laws have been in force almost continuously since 1967 and their abolition has topped the list of priorities of most of the country's opposition movements.
​

Training base

The ministry said: "[They had] deviant extremist ideas far from true Islam and a mistaken and perverse response to international and regional events."
​

The group is alleged to have been trying to buy land in El Saff, about 60km south of Cairo, for a training base, and had been in contact with groups abroad to get help in sending members abroad to fight, it said.
​

An Islamist group planted two bombs in Cairo in April 2005, killing four people and wounding many others. The bombings appeared to be aimed at tourists.
​

A separate group attacked the Red Sea resort of Sharm al-Shaikh in July, killing at least 67 people. Some information from the government suggested that the Red Sea bombers also had militant views.
​

Also on Wednesday, Egypt's prosecutor-general, Maher Abdel Wahed, ordered the release of 120 university students suspected of being members of the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood.
​

Most of the group had been rounded up in several provinces in the past two weeks for joining a banned group, a police official and group members said.

Wow man these are some high quality posts, too bad noone is reading them. I just skimmed them myself. But I bet ya'll get alot of shit in the Islam forum about being terrorists. Its good to see a little balance, some pro-fundamentalist news stories, but it will be hard to undue the thousands I have seen against them. Anyway my question is: Do you think Mohammed killed people, or lead an army while he was alive? I was under the impression he was a military leader and I read a short biography about his life that said his army first started out by ambushing caravans to make money. This has to do with what you first said about violence. Also I like it that you have a link to your recent threads thats a good idea.

Also I read in another thread you defending putting apostates of Islam to death. If a muslim friend of yours publicy came out against Islam and refused to come back to it, would you kill him? I also didn't think your computer referance was very valid at all, I mean God seeing people as tools or things that he has no emotional attachment to, like I do to a computer, is a COMPLEATLY differnt view than that of Christianity, like a compleate 180

Sorry Cat but the Saudi government is not the Koran. And you know many true believers think the Saudi government is just a puppet of the West.
Koran 5:57 states, do not seek the friendship of the infidels and those who were given the Book before you, who have made your religion a jest and a pasttime...

The fact is Cat, you are trying to mix politics with religion. It doesen't work. And true believers would agree with Koran 5:57. YOU apperently do not. Cat you are what other Moslems would call politically correct. Yet, your stand does not fit with what is stated in the Koran. Im not interested in what the Saudi does, im interested in what the Koran tells true believers to do. And what the Koran tells its believers to do, is not to seek friendship with Christians and Jews. IN THE CHRISTIAN FAITH, WE DO NOT HAVE THIS KIND OF VIOLENCE. THIS COMES OUT OF YOUR RELIGION AND YOUR KORAN. ARE BIBLE TELLS US TO TURN THE OTHER CHEEK NOT TO CUT IT OFF.
