I was at my friend's brother's wedding last weekend and they provided crappy beer (Miller Lite and Leinies), so I bought my own from the bar. I didn't really think about it at the time, but was that a snooty thing to do? I can't stand the beer they served. People were surprised that I bought my own instead of drinking the free stuff. *shrug*

    I don't think it's snobbish at all.

If I was stuck with the choice of only Miller and Leinenkugel's, I would have done the same thing.

Good, I was hoping I wasn't being insulting or whatever. No one else seemed to mind the beer. I don't mind Leinenkugels Honey Weiss or Red from time to time though.

I dont think that was snobbish at all! There is a difference in having good taste in beer & being a snob..lol..but since im not 21 i would have been stuck drinking the free beer wishing i was drinking a Porter..
