is this pathetic, seriously? help

    ok, so I have a friend of mine (opposite sex) wich I see like 1 time a year because of the distance....back 6 years from now I had some kind of cruch on her, but now, I'm kind of lost in my mind...didnt have any relation since then...we are really close friend but sometimes, there are those really ak-ward silence when you know someone is soppose to say something but doesn't.

    after 6 years, I never asked about her past relations and she never asked about mine. even when we see each others for the first time. first thing I do usally is asking my friends what's going on with their life and everything, if the are seeing someone, usual things u know...I never did this with her, and obviously, I think she is not asking those thinks because she know the answer...

    anyways, do you guys have any tips for the ak-wards silences. I really don't want to lost this friendship, I kind of wish somedays that time would go back 6 years ago and I would make the concious decission being more sentimental with this thing...I think...anyways...
