Redish/golden brown mushrooms, relaviely flat but very slightly somewhat conical tops, sort of distict white marks around the circumference of the top. white stems, with a hint of golden orange near the bottom.
If you don't know with 100% certainty DO NOT EAT THAT SHIT! Unless of course you like the idea of experiencing total kidney failure, or worse. If it stains blue when you crush it, that's a good sign, but if you don't know the source, or if you just picked it up off some cow shit - don't eat it. Even Mycologists with years of experience are capable of misidentifying these things. Having said that, look into "golden teacher".
I'm gonna say no. I don't see any veil or remnants of. It doesn't look quite right to me. I voted no, however I've never seen or picked in the wild.
Galerina contains psyliocibin, is does not stain blue. its also hard to id and its orange/brown like the one shown..
^ Caps don't normally open as wide in galerina as in the specimen shown, at least not as they age. Also the shrooms in the photo don't have a ring beneath the cap like galerinas do. And I'm not sure what you're talking about psilocybin in them for, but I was under the assumption they were deadly toxic, but I don't know much about them since I come from a state that doesn't have Cyanescens or Stuntzii to confuse them with. Definitely just a random LBM you picked up somewhere. Not magic, more than likely poisonous or otherwise inedible.
Ah, I was speaking for galerina marginata particularly. Never heard of G. Steglichii until now, but I could only find a few different photos of them in Google images which tells me they are too rare to be really mentionable.
