Is the "feeling" of acid the same as shrooms?

I've yet to do acid, but I've tripped off shrooms a few times now. I'm just curious, because I found a connection now, does the acid high give you the same "feeling" as shrooms? As in feeling somewhat dizzy/disorientated/weak and heavy? Or does it make you more hyper and energetic?

Also, I just had my first shroom trip on Saturday. The second trip I had on Monday night, and two days later now, wednesday night, I plan on doing a third. Do you think I'll mentally be okay? School starts soon and this is going to be my last trip for at least 3 months (I experienced ego death on my second trip so...). I just want to be sure it's not TOO dangerous or risky to be doing 3 trips in successive order like that.

you'll be fine...just lay off it for awhile adn let your tolerance go back down, the trips must have been getting weaker adn if you just started shrooms less than a week ago you dont need to be considering acid and no its not the same feeling.at all.

I know. I'm a real lightweight though and I have a big ass joint that I'm going to smoke mid trip to strengthen it. I'm not looking to trip balls though, just have a good time and relax in my room. I tripped hard enough when my ego died the other night. That was an incredible experience.

 

why can't you just hold off a bit? Leary and those guys sometimes ate acid constantly for weeks at a time, so you will be "ok," but why not wait?

 

It was my last chance to trip well, I'm going to be too occupied with school very soon to have any real chance to trip anymore.

 

I'm going to be doing LSD soon for the first time as well. I've also had psychedelic experiences with shrooms. I do have to say that before you try a drug, do a lot of researching and know what you are getting yourself into. My inspiration for this trip is my new found heroes Timothy Leary and Ken Kesey. Both were leaders of the psychedelic revolution that took place in the 60's. I would recommend that you look up interviews and essays written by these two to have a better understanding of what you are getting yourself into. Both have different points of view but at the same time go hand and hand. If I were you (and in some cases I am), knowing that Leary has done it more than 600 times and tried to take it at least once a week and still had an enjoyable spiritual, experience , I would not be worried.

I second the Goddess, but I have tripped many many times. You will be just fine taking shrooms like that, I once did a similar thing with cid and shrooms for a month straight. Acid is a different trip than shrooms, but they are very similar. If you like shrooms, you will like acid and vice versa.

 

acid feels more electric.

ok... just think about the names... say "acidacidacidacid" over and over and then say "shroomsshroomshrooms" over and over. that's the difference.

i probably sound like i've done both too many times now. but really...

Take nice dose of acid and shrooms together and than when it hits nicely take few pufs of DMT and you will clearly see what you feel from acid and what from shrooms!
