Well, you wouldn't be concious of time, but it would still exist.

i thought time stopped at light speed.

i don't know. to be honest, asking questions about theoretical physics on a public message board is like running a race against a dozen kids with down syndrome. somebody might win, but you're still all a bunch of retards at the end.

Honestly I don't believe in time at all. I think here on earth we look at the progression of things - such as birth to death - as begining and ending. In the universe as a whole, at least what we know of it, there is noe begining and there is no end. Thus there is no progression, and there is no time. Just another silly human concept. :D

When it ends here, it has to start somewhere else.. energy just can't be created or destoyed so easily.

    Every man returns to dust...

That's exactly what I was getting at ...

There is no beginning and end. It's all a cycle.

There's always going to be a means to a beginning at every end and an option at every pause.

But the whole act of strating and stopping is irrelevant.

The real problem is - does time exist?

Sure we have a therory that we can 'stop' or even 'reverse' time by going the speed of light or faster ... but where does the whole theory of time come from? is it real?

If years and seconds can be measured, then how can't time be real? Time is just the number of times that a given thing happening at regular intervals happens. (I made up that deffinition) Doesn't time slow down near black holes?

man, some cool metaphysical facts: to learn about life and reality, ye gotta learn it at its present moment, mistakes science make is trying to find a begininng to such a thing, with big-bang and everything... besides bigbang is the stupidest thing ive ever heard, surely the explosion must've came from something that came from something that came from something and so on, you cannot explain something so incomprehensible with such absurdity.

So, all in all, the past doesnt exist, sure it exists, but theyre memories occuring in your head at the "present" moment, neither does the future which is simply projection happening at the "present" moment once again. Finally, scientists should study the "present" fuckin moment!!!

All this to say, shit man i dunno... lol, had to do something with time at least

Those are some good thoughts Phil ... the origin of the universe has been twisting at my mind for months now. For some reason I feel a need to know how everything came into existance ... but like you said, everything comes from somthing ... hmm.

yea man, ive been in this phase for a while now ... i came to the realisation that, scientifically knowing that 95% of the matter is invisible to the human eye, also the sheer impossibility of something like a big bang simply "happening" and voila, ye got life... and with my limited 5 senses to obtain clues of my reality, i cant simply be SURE of something that started it all, humans are ignorant, seriously man, there are so much things we cannot perceive, but bleh, of course its fun believing in something, fills an empty part of ye inside.

And i came to believe, not know, that everything simply "is", presences in everything, everyone, which we cannot normally see. but its there, we're all part of god, even if there is a God, we all come from him, and even if the bigbang is right, we all come from this "thing"... so, simply, we "are", everything "is".
