Who knows maybee I'll try and get out there one day and cut a log or two. Last time I helped a woodcutter he gave me some of his homebrew as a present. It was strange stuff you didn't realise you were drunk until the next morning when the hangover kicked in.

It would be the same thing as if they were to go around the city looking into peoples windows like peeping toms, to see if they can catch anybody doing something illegal.
Not only is it an invasion of privacy, it's also impractical.

Looking for outdoor crops, yes. They definitely do that.
Every year here where I live, there is choppers buzzing all over the place in august to october, looking for fields and suspiscious looking sheds/canopies.
Most of the time, nobody gets busted though, because they can't pin the crop to any person unles they catch you in the act.

 

In the UK they have specialised grow squads that use helicopters with infra red. But they arn't really intersted in closet growers they are after the big commercial operations. Of course like all busts they generally get tipped off. When I was younger I got put in the cells while the police searched my house looking for stolen goods I had 8 plants growing under a 400W HPS lamp they didn't even mention it and let me go. But I wouldn't count on that happening again.
I read somewhere keeping your grow room looking basic helps the police and courts seem to be frightened by anything ''high tech''.
My main rule is tell nobody and nobody knows. Whoever nobody is.

 

few years back,, they got 2 crops here in the county,,from helicopters..

crop 1, 1200 plants over 6 feet 2 males in the whole crop.
was located on a farm that was the family of the local D.A...

Crop number 2,, 30 plants out behind the house of the folks that cooked the best BBQ in the area..

so they busted the cousin of the D.A. for crop number 1,,busted the couple that ran the barbecue shack for crop number 2..

Yea i remember you saying something about it, i think. I hate when everyone knows you, like in my old town i lived with my dad in, doylestown, pa i went to the highschool there for half a year, and everywhere i went everyone knew me, stores, neighbors, and it's not really a small town, thats the scary part

 

in the 13 years i been here full time this counties went from 7,000 people to 25,000 people..

sometimes we glad we are this well known..
sometimes big brother aint so quick to be kind when ya a newbie...

 

do they wear big hats? a cop in virgina tried to bust me and terrapin on our way to ocala, and he had a big cowboy hat and was all like: "I dont appreciate yalls goofy boogie woogie hip hopster talkin thur, yalls been drinkn?"
and he said my eyes were red, i said man im tired as shit been driving a while. and he tried to radio in his station and his radio didnt work, so he let us go! But he said he better not see us in the morning or ever again for that matter(it was out front of a hotel we were pulling back into) Man, cops from VA and south HATE us! I mean i know why, but still.
