    Hello,
I started experimenting with Adderall recently and I like it. It helps me concentrate and learn a lot.

Is it bad for you? What is the downside of taking it? I'm talking about physical negative effects on the body?

    Thanks

No one asked you Scruff McGruff.

But yeah man(OP). It kind of makes me sad that you even have to ask such a common sense question like it's hard to figure out the info for yourself. Yes, Adderall is bad for you. It's an amphetamine, which is rough on your heart most specificaly. Especially snorted.

yea man its real bad for you it increases your heart rate like crazy and for alot of people it creates jaw action similar to mdma or any other amphetamine really, not to mention its hell on your central nervous system . It also can be very addictive coming from personal experience. Take it sparingly as it really can help with your studies, but be aware of its potential for abuse and effects on your body.

Well I just take 7.5 mg of adderall probably 3-4 times a week to help me study... I was just wondering... I mean, I knew it was somewhat bad because it's a amphetamine but wasn't sure as to what extent..

I know one thing. It saves me a lot of time and helps me study a lot better.

I don't think you need to worry about the health risks at that low a dose/frequency.

I used to be prescribed to 30mgs XR a day.

    Wow,
Yeah, when my tolerance was low and I didnt know what adderral was my freind gave me one b/c i was having the hardest time getting focused and doing my h.w.

He gave me 30mg XR and my brain was like fuckin superman all day long and I took it at like 9a.m. and I was up at 1a.m. the next day still thinkin about wild shit haha

I got to admit, it can be a very useful drug but if your body isn't in the right conditions it can backfire.

For example, if you haven't eaten anything, or drank a good amount of water while on adderral, I don't think itll help your concentration as much as if you did meet those conditions.

    cheers.

Back at the peak of my addiction...i would take 60mgs at once (or 40 then 20 if I knew it would be a long day), sometimes rapid-release, sometimes XR. Hell, sometimes vyvanse.

To answer your question...YES. Unless you are using Addy exactly as prescribed by your doctor (and even then there are some side effects...) you are wreaking HAVOC on your CNS and heart.

I'm so glad I broke out of it.

I wouldn't worry at 7.5/mgs a day. Nevertheless, listen to your body and your mind.
