What's with the ? New members can't post pictures of themselves at this site? I feel like I'm very unwelcome here, which should explain the whole defensive "thing." I came here with the intention to be a solid poster who participates in many forms of discussion. I don't want to be known here because I look alright and never insinuated that. Give a girl a chance to say something with her personality.
The is simply because girls with photos of themselves, especially if they are decent looking, are usually instant successes around here. Got nothing to do with you. I'm all for expressing yourself through personality and intellect, and I respect your intention to do so. I hope, and after your last reply kind of expect, that you will contribute to this place. Let me clue you in, most people here, with exceptions, aren't what we would consider "solid posters" that "participate in many forms of discussions", unless you take that very loosely. Most people here are "off-the-cuff" riffers, who are jostling one another 24/7, with the intention of having a little fun. Not sayin' they're brainless, but the "creativity" level here is mighty higghhhhh. There ARE those areas of this forum zoo that are, shall we say, more 'thoughtful' than the others. Some areas are simply naaasty, with subject matter I wouldn't repeat in front of myselffff, for fear that I might contribute to my own delinquency. But don't expect anything but a whistle and an AHOOOOGAHHH when posting your picture. You've got it, kid, and the world is your oyster,,, Buck up, hang in there. I also came, originally, to the internet expecting to find intelligent conversation. Hoooboy,,, Sometimes, you find it, in the strangest of places. "It" happens. But don't expect too much outta these bozos,,except soma dese bozos are pre-tty sharp.
