cmisd. today i go to court for cmisd minor consumption. me and 3 friends from work got pulled over in front of my house at 3am the other month for taking an alley way to long. suspicious behavior i guess :/. as we pulled in the lights came on and a cop talked to all of us, who had been drinking and were only 20, now none of us were drunk but he said he could smell alcohol and attempted to give everyone tickets for minor consumption. i explained i wasnt taking the ticket because no breathalyzers(?) were given and the only field sobriety test given was too the driver which he passed. the officer called me an asshole and a dumbass and put me in cuffs which then scared my 2 friends from work to sign the ticket and admit guilt and my roomate only took the. ticket because he had a 9inch bubbler peice in his pants ha :\. so i went to jail. overnight. and they continued to harrass me in the drunk tank untill i took a breathalyzer(?) and i blew 000s. then i went to population and was released in court to community corrections which is court ordered probation basically while your on release. i didnt admit to anything and there is no evidence if i file a motion to dismiss do you think it will get dropped? any advice?? thanks-evans
I think you should ride it out, use the legal system against them. I'm no expert, but I believe you exercised your rights and the cop knew he was wrong but pulled a power trip. They have NO evidence though.
