i've been drinking a bit. evan williams bourbon, never had it before. its ok. i prefer jack, or better yet wild turkey. or better yet irish or scotch whisky...

but its cheap and not bad, and i'm trashed for having had less than half a bottle......i did throw up a little

I'm making brown & wild rice pilaf, with cremini mushrooms, green onions, peas, carrots and green beans. It's taking awhile.

I also made French Onion soup with Guinness in it today. I'm making lunches and cleaning my apartment, reading and such because it's been raining the entire day and I have no money. Ooo, I do have some wine.

YAYY!!! I am so impressed. I was < close to buying some yesterday. I got Guinness and wine instead. I needed just a can of Guinness to do some cooking, but they don't sell them in singles, so I had to buy a 4 pack and decided against buying Maudite. Are you drinking from the 40 or the bottles?
