Let me start off by saying.. I love Psycadelics with a passion. And I would give anything to do them again. Crazy addiction, I know.

But all the time, I'm surrounding by people who do or work with drugs. I listen to alot of trance and techno that bring back memories of trips i've been through. I read erowid trip reports all the time. [Thats the only thing I read on erowid]

Doing all of this shit makes me want to trip. But I can't... Well I don't think. I've never tried it while under the effects of my opiate blocker..

I take suboxone. And my doctor said if I mix anything with it, he doesn't know what it will do. And I definately don't need another bad trip, otherwise i'll go crazy. But i'm going crazy now?!

What can I do besides smoke weed with suboxone? Does anyone know from experience? Something I can try that will give me hope so I don't go freakin out when I start tripping?!

That really sucks man. You can't even take mushrooms or anything? Something non chemical? I don't know what suboxone is or what it does. Can you not take it for a few days and trip?

i think he would start withdrawling if he missed a day, depending on his doasage, i assume 8mg a day. and honestly ive taken psychedelics while on suboxone before, and there were no negative interactions. i think they just say that to scare you or to try and keep you sober from any substances, thats the idea of recovery with subs.

opiate users should not get help going through withdrawals, because then it makes it too easy or the help drives them to nonstop use of another drug like suboxone or methadone. if they just go through full fledged withdrawal hell, for a couple days then they will never want to go through that again lol. and if they are smart will quit. but hell that doesnt work either, cuz im still a user lol

Psychedelic Lover - I'm not sure. I've never tried. I wanted to do mushrooms a month ago. But I asked my doctor and he said he didn't know what would happen because i've changed my brain in such a way.. He said it was like.. taking a computer apart, turning all the lights out, then trying to put it back together in the dark.

420twentyfour7 - If I lay off of the suboxone for a day, I will go super nuts. I'm trying to ween off of it. I was taking 8mgs, but I take 6mgs a day because I break them into 4's.

Cannijuana - What all have you taken on suboxone?

MrBDNice - Thanks, anything would be appeciate. I don't feel like being a guinea pig. My mental state wouldn't be able to handle anything going wrong.

Triptonic - I'm coming off of the suboxone surely.. but very extremely slowly. Ha.

These are the drugs I would like to do, I know their chemistry well too.

Mushrooms, Ayuaschua, And maybe Anamantias. NOTHING synthetic.

I just don't know how it would react to me while on suboxone. I'm on propanolol as well for my heart. Which my heart never gives me any trouble unless I stop taking my medicine. Thats due to so many bad trips i've had on DXM. I always had this idea my heart would burst because it was going so fast. Now, I have to take medicine because i'll have panic attacks. I need a drug to cleanse me. To free all the burdens I hide behind. I want to find meaning in my life. Everyday its just the same routine. All my friends left me because I didn't want to do drugs anymore. I started smoking again.. and people want to chill.. Thats just how it is around my town ha. Get clean and see how many people will be there for you.

So suboxone is for coming of fof opiates?

In the thread "Anyone wanna quit with me" (I think) I posted that I have helped ppl come off of drugs. Like Trip said, you will more likely NOT do what drug you were addicted to if you WD and get over it. Taking something to get off something doesn't teach you anything. I am glad that you are taking the step to get off of whatever you were doing. My method of helping ppl:

Lock them in my back room for 2-3 weeks. Feed, clothe and wash them. Make sure they have a shit bucket and a puke bucket.

Everyone I have done this too has appreciated me doing it and have never touched the drug that they were addicted to. It taught them that they didn't ever want to experience a WD ever again. Specially hancuffed to someones wall in an empty room.

Good luck, and just remember.. The sooner you get off of the Suboxone is the sooner that you get to enjoy what you actually want to do (psychs).

The doctor is retarded. Those drugs don't work on the same parts of the brain at all. He can't tell u that acid is good for u mang.

Here, look at the combinations of what other people have done:
    http://www.erowid.org/experiences/subs/exp_Pharms_Buprenorphine.shtml

Looks like acid (mushrooms work on the same parts of the brain, so do most tryps. That should be safe too), tramadol, salvia, alcohol, and amphetamines (a type of phenethylamine, meaning that those should be safe too).

You want me to throw out some techincal mumbo jumbo that u wont read then I can, but almost all psychs are safe with suboxone. At worst you might cause a slightly fast withdraw. Don't sweat it mang.

Sorry guys but this is just wrong. Opiate use changes your brain chemistry. Alot. Especially heavy use. When you stop using it will take years for your brain to repair itself. And guess what happens for those few years. All you do is think about how you need your fix.
Replacement therapy is the best way to get off because its not getting you high but it is keeping you from feeling like you want to kill yourself all the time(I'm sure you all know what I mean).
Only 30% of non replacement therapy people never use again. Suboxone or methadone helps taper you off while allowing your body to adjust to the feel good chemical you no longer have in it. If you really want to quit I suggest using replacement therapy because it still wont be easy but at least it will work because you wont have killed yourself or gone back to using.

Ok, so first of all, you should have no problem taking any true psychedelics while on opiates (suboxone inclued).

Second - to psychedelic lover or whatever your name is, I don't believe for a second that you have handcuffed people in your 'backroom' and made them go through withdrawals. Despite the fact that that amounts to felony kidnapping/false imprisonment, it wouldn't even be an effective way to get people off drugs. Read the stats, cold turkey is the least effective way to quit using opiates. As the person above stated, rplacement therapy has something like an 80 to 90 percent success rate in getting people off of opiates for good. Granted it takes a while, but the physical withdrawal is the easy part, its the endorphin deficiency that's the hard part. If you are going to act (key word 'act') like you're in the position to help someone get off opiates, at least take the time to research what the fuck you're dealing with.

They did it by their own choice, that's not kidnapping.

Perhaps look into Ibogaine, both as a halucinogen as well as a supposed "Insta-cure" for a pretty wide spectrum of addiction's.

Might still get "the sick" but it wipes off the psycological urge from what I've read on the topic.

And if you do try it, I'd have to think that allot of the "research studies" being done on it are influenced by big(brother)-pharmacutical companies to water down the mix as I'm sure if it was as effective as initially suggested some time ago it's cut a big chunk out of their profit margins,,, Maybe that's just the inner-neurotic in me speaking but maybe not.

Plenty of info on how to home brew it if you look hard enough.

I see. The iboga plant is something i've always wanted to try. I've heard that it unlocks doors to your past and can sometimes help you to find whats going on in your life to help you make things better. I'll see what I can do.. I'm not good at all with this kind of stuff.. Maybe I could talk to my friend about it. He knows everything about this shit.
