back about 2 years, in my first homeschooling experience, i had to go to my moms college classes, for psychology. i read all here psyc books, and her teacher gave me a test...i did better then ever student in all her classes, besides my mom(she is incredinbly smart, never below a 100 on any college test she has ever had). idk how this is possible, ive taken in 6 years of colleg level education, in under 4 years. i have always been smart, but i quit doing anything educational last month. does it have anything to do with my age? will i be this way for the rest of my life? im 14 btw

LOL, according to you, you should already have your Bachelor's anyway...

    *cough* BS *cough*

And sorry, but if your mom has never gotten below a 100 then she's never taken any challenging classes

What's the point of life if you spend all your free time pouring over books?

That would be an awesome life.

But there are things like family to take care of and bills to pay, sadly.

no, a lot of things are going to change over the next 5 years of your life. sounds like you have a good ability for reading and learning, by the sounds of this. however, it is rather fishy.

  8. I think homeschooling might have a lot to do with it. People tend to disagree with me on this one, but conventional education actually makes you dumb.

ah its called educational burnout,,,, nothing more nothing less,,,,
i was sent to college in the fifth grade taking enrichment type courses for the gifted(HAHA) children.... Mother was in college the following few years and worked as well through it all,,, i would sit and do her psych and anatomy n stuff right along side her,... my brain was a wide open thing,,,, as i became older i was made to take college level courses during the summers and then from ninth grade on was taking two college courses a semster as well as school... my last two years of high school were mixxed half college half school.....

kids need a break at some point n realize, ackkkkkk school n temporarily shut them selves down to it.. tis time to be a kid before its gone,,,,, ..
if you were that into learning before hand chances are you will open back up and regain that enthusiasm for learnin... or be like some i have seen n get so bummed out by the perpetual learning process you choose to close yerself off to the whole of it and become a waste product ....
no worries,,, yer 14,,,, be a kid enjoy it while you can and i wouldnt fuss much over your gaping hole in yer educational cycle at the moment....

  10. By the way, so you might be some sort of child prodigy? Just try to look critically at the pressure you and others put on yourself to "use your talent". In other words, what he said ^^^^^ chill out and find yourself and don't let being smart drag you down.

i dont even know if prodigy belongs in it,,,, i hated being called that personally...:) i was nothing more than a child that learned very well and quickly,,, especially when something got my attention,,, n quite frankly i think most kids are that way,,, it just takes a bit more for some to figger out what catches the mind of a child and many a times it goes unseen for many many years,,, whereby the labels we put on people begin to come into play....... kids are brilliant and so open to new things, experiencing and learning,,, we as adults have for the most part lost that ability except for what we ourselves are interested in so therefore forget thinkin that a small kid could be very excited bout it and be a "prodigy"in whatever it is....

  12. I was just being facetious......kind of paying out the label. Essentially its all a key of whatever you are, naturally or by circumstance, smart or stupid, learning to be yourself and not letting the world's predispositions get the better of ya ;)
