I'm sick of it!!

I'm gonna leave this forum! I'm really getting sick and tired of you people not accepting me for what I've chosen to be and what 'rules' I've chose to not do! I say I'm never gonna do drugs and I mean it! And you bash me and say I'm a fuckin' un-hippie idiot for not doing dugs! I though hippies were supposed to be open minded people! As if!! I'm open minded but I just choose not to do drugs and leave the ones who do drugs alone! Ya know what?! I hope all of you who do drugs overdose and die on whatever drugs you do. I know six people who are just like me that are hippie but don't believe in doing drugs and stuff. And I'm very happy to have those people!

I, for one don't think you have to do any drugs to be hip. Drugs have nothing to do with it. Those who give you a hard time must not really get it anyways. Please stay who you are and know that you are awesome for being able to be yourself and express yourself freely. Personally I think a lot of people only think they they are hippy because they do drugs. This activity alone couldn't be a more innacurate representation of what "hippie" is. In fact I think it is really cool for you to live the hippy lifestyle and choose NOT to use drugs. Nonconformists are true hippies and true hippies are nonconformists!!!

 

I don't know whos been saying to you that you've gotta do drugs to be a 'hippie' but thats bollocks. and anyway what is a 'hippie'? Everyone is different,we don't need to have labels, we are whatever we are.
You saying I hope those who do drugs die is harsh though- you're just sinking to the level of those people who have had a go at you.

 

maybe youre just being a stupid bitch. who cares if youre not accepted on these forums. its only fucking forums. i personally cant stand 3/4 of the people on here and im thinking of leaving soon. not all hippies are druggies, and being a hippie doesnt mean youre totally accepting, because people are just stupid and refuse to see anything in anyone else's perspective.

Let's not take that statement on face value - I'm sure she probably just said that because she was/is very angry. This board can do that to people. I'm sure everyone's had the shits with this place from time to time, I certainly have.

People who dictate to you what a hippie is obviously haven't grown up yet... they are still caught up in the peer group pressure mentality "if you are this, you must do this" etc. Pfft... You are more mature than they are... just feel sorry for them and move on. You should be proud of yourself to have the guts to stick to your beliefs. Good on you.
