I think for the vast majority of people high school is ultra fucked up and just one step down from prison.

The freedom once you escape is breathtaking, further down the track, even if your life does end up sucking, there are still moments where you can do what the fuck you want that werent available in the high school years, cos your parents were on your back, you didnt have enough money, couldnt get into bars.

In summary, its only really up from here.......well until you get pregnant to some wife beating alcoholic douchbag that was cheating on you the whole time without you having a clue
