I'm not racist, I'm a victim of it...

In a couple of recent threads I think some people may have gotten the impression that I'm not empathetic to the victims of racism, that could not be further from the truth.

I have been spat on, refused service, insulted, challenged, attacked, threatened repeatedly, etc.,etc.
Every time I go into a store I am watched, followed and met with remarks like "If you try to steal anything, you'll be sorry" just walking in the door.

I have even been jailed simply because of my race, and very few people in my area actually trust me. They can be friendly enough, but you can still sense the disdain they have for me.
Even little children have mocked and insulted me.

So yeah, I know what racism feels like first hand.

It's not easy being a dark skinned Wood Elf in a land of fair skinned Nords.

Life in the province of Skyrim isn't easy when your an elf.


plus I'm stuck in the middle of a civil war that most Nords blame the Elves for starting, so I'm also often accused of being a spy.

Dark skinned or not, at least you're still a wood elf.
Try being Dunmer or Khajiit. Then you will feel the racism.

 

Dunmer get killed in dark alley's in some areas of Skyrim, no thanks.

Don't trust Khajiit, never have, never will, they're all thieves.

i mean, i can't say i know Nox , well... very well. but i feel like someone on drugs can say this. if he honestly feels like he's been a victim of racism... i'll bet you dollars to donuts that other tin foil space beam deflector shields and even on full elves are still worm-hole compressed machine varieties with velcro.
