I'm looking for the absolute best psychedelic and I understand that in order to find the "best", I must describe what the "best" is to me. I'm not looking for a high, to "trip balls", etc, but a journey that will teach me many things that I will keep close to me until I die. I posted this in the LSD forum, for I thought those who have done LSD may have done more and also because LSD first came to mind. I know that DMT is much stronger than LSD, but I would probably have a low chance of getting a hold of it and I don't know whether it actually teaches you or lets you teach yourself? Many thanks, Carlos
If availability is such an issue just try what you can get? If I say DMT is best, but you can't get any... then we get no wherez. Na mean
The obvious lsd/dmt but some of the naturals like san pedro (mescaline) or mushrooms would also fit under "journey" and are usually available in allot of places.
Well, the first question is: what are you trying to learn? It's like elementary school, each teacher could teach anything, but they have specialties. For me and a lot of other people, mushrooms tend to give a more introspective trip. The kind where you face your past or your inner demons. LSD tends to give more of a new view on our society. It's easy to figure people out on L. Mescaline teaches you about the Earth and how to respect it properly. DMT teaches you about our past and our future. MDMA can help to let you look at your problems with less judgement so that you might be able to do higher doses of classic psychedelics. RCs are mostly for fun. I've only tried 5-MeO-AMT and 2C-B, but I didn't see much more than visuals and a good time coming from either one. I have heard good things about 2C-E, however. Ultimately, though, I think learning these kinds of things through chemical means, while effective, isn't the best way to do things. It bombards you with a lot of info at once, leaving you to sort it out and put it in order on your own. It makes me feel insane at times. Probably the best way to get to the same point of knowledge is through meditation. It's very slow - usually taking many years before you start to reach anything - but it lets you learn all there is to know about the secrets of life at a pace that you can easily keep up with. Try reading up on Zen Buddhism ("Zen Mind, Beginner's Mind" by Shunryu Suzuki is good), as a lot of "enlightened" people that have taken a lot of psychedelics tend to follow a lot of Zen beliefs. I tend to follow more of a Taoist belief myself, however. If you'd like know more about Tao, I suggest starting with "The Tao Of Pooh" and "The Te Of Piglet" by Benjamin Hoff.
Exactly! In order to know whitch one is the best TO YOU (as it is very personal and depends on state of mind) you need to try all of them and make a decision. I can't even say witch one is best to me, as I don't feel like having always the same psychedelic at the time. One day this one is better, tomorrow other one, sometimes the combination is the best and it really depends where you are and with who. But if you are asking me witch one gave me the most, I can say that I don't know as every time was special and different, but I have to mention DMT, LSD and Kethamine..I mean combination of those with dash of very good weed.
Great advice and completly true one. But he wants to go a bit faster on his spiritual journey. Who's gonna sit for 5 years and meditate to get first results? Where do I know this from? . Just when you come to the point where it makes you feel insane please deal with it.
The most potent psychedelic compounds found in plants are most similar to the chemistry that is occuring RIGHT NOW in our heads The best is here
I would go with a high dose of mushrooms or a high dose of mescaline. Try to get some Peruvian Torch, for me that produced a more profound effect than san pedro.
Thank you all so very much! I guess I thougtht right when I thought mushrooms gave you an introspective / religious experience and LSD gives you an outrospective / "logical" experience. However, I never knew Peyote taught us of the Earth. I have decided to do LSD first and perhaps do mushrooms another time. I chose this because I believe the mushrooms will put what I learn with LSD to a form or work. Can anyone explain how DMT teaches us of the "past and future"? Again, thanks!
I'd recommend acid/lsd for the ebst psychadelic, see the lights. But I'd recommend schroom for a better 'journey'.
