Im done with drugs.

I was at a party last night and the weed I smoked was laced withs something, I think coke. I was freaking out the whole party because I felt like I was going to die and I couldnt talk. My time at the first big party at my new school was ruined and I had a bunch of my friends worried for me. I just dont feel like I want to risk my health again just to get high. My belief is still that marijuana is perfectly safe, but one drug still associates you with other drugs, so I refuse to smoke anymore. I just want to say thanks to the people that were cool on this forum and that this is a great place to meet like-minded people.

 

Most of the people that I know that sell weed, only sell weed. Try to find more like-minded people where you are and just have a good time with them. Maybe what you thought was laced weed was actually just some really killer shit and the atmosphere of the party was what really made you freak out. Don't jump the gun and blame laced weed if you haven't thought of the other possibilities.

alot of my friends smoke weed but thats all they're down for..none of that coke shit and stuff

 

I've decided to quit all drugs as of the end of this summer. Its been alot fun and there have been some great moments, but it just feels like the time to quit.

 

would this include alcohol?

 

Well of course this is an example of why weed should be de-crminized or legal in the US. If it was legal you would always know what you're getting.But I agree always know who you get the weed from.A country, the US that has pharmaceutical companies advertising ad nauseum everywhere including tv,really,really has its priorities on backwards.Pathetic!Ban the drug commercials and legalize weed.I'll add IMO anyone that goes higher than weed is crazy.I know this is a forum where people have very liberal views on this topic,but thats my opinion.

 

Coke doesnt do anything if you smoke it. It has to be made into freebase or crack.

Otherwise your mouth will get a little tingly and your weed will taste like shit. A lighters flame would kill the cocaine (basically) unless it's been made into something else.

 

just don't smoke weed at big parties, do beer bongs instead

Yeah coke definitely does something if you smoke it. It's pretty crazy feeling too. It makes music sound amazing.

nakilarx.....I'm thinkin you may have just had a panic attack. I've had plenty of panic attacks from weed and even panicked so much I had seizures because my heart started beating so fast. There's no way of knowing for sure if you smoked laced weed, but did you taste anything weird? Because coke has a distinct taste when you smoke it, and you would definitely know.

 

it wasn't laced with coke dude, it was just better or a different kind of weed than you are used to, and the atmosphere of the party probably freaked you out a bit since you were high.

 

your shit definitely was not laced with coke....it probably wasn't laced at all. Maybe you just smoked too much and got HIGH. I hear thats what weed does to you.

It's a good thing your quitting. Luckily something scared you out of it before you got into anything harder. I've quit marijuana also and I feel 100% better. You may start craving it again but for the first 2-3 weeks try to stay away from the drug, and those cravings will go away.

Another way to get away from cravings is to join a club, or activity that will help you stay away from drugs. I've joined rowing and because it takes up a good amount of my free time, I find it helps get my mind off drugs, plus it gives me the benefit of doing something good for my body instead of damaging.

It's tough to quit but don't get discouraged, so good luck with it, and I hope it works out.

 

Im getting tired of hearing people go on and on on how its impossible for weed to be spiked with coke, I understand for most of you its very unlikely that you come across spiked weed in the USA but when I was living in central america decent weed on a gram per gram level was twice the price of cocaine, coke was 5 bucks a gram decent mids were 10, now most dealers i went through were pretty straight with it but there was a few whose weed made you feel tweaked out and extra jonesing for it, anyways after a while i felt that i never crash this hard from smoking so i bought a home testing kit and came out positive for cocaine, long story short i took a 6 month stop from drugs alltogether and never went to any shady dealers again... it sounds pretty dumb to miss coke on your weed but in small amounts it can be passed off as kief pretty decently... moral of the story, anything is possible and dont smoke weed from a source you dont trust

Damn cocain for $5 a gram? I wouldn't mind smuggling it into the states with that big of a profit ratio. I'm sure his weed was laced with something; most likely not cocain though, wayy too damn expensive.

 

That is an awesome decision yet a hard one. I got clean 9 years ago and I have never been happier. And if I could quit what I was doing anyone can. Good luck.

anyway, sorry to say guys but what cap'n cannabis said is pretty bang on. now don't get me wrong, i've tried this before too. around here we call it "cocoa puffs" but it doesn't really produce an effective coke high. you have to freebase etc..
basically a lighters flame would burn up most of the coke. although, when you smoke weed with coke, you do get a tiny residual effect from the yay. but nothing serious.
now, as pure speculation maybe what you guys experienced, was the high from what it was cut with. cause lets face it, it's pretty hard to get anything close to pure.
whenever i hear of weed being laced, it's most likely something super cheap, and found over the counter. we're talking cleaning products, bug spray, something like that. otherwise, there's no purpose of putting in an agent that would cost more than the weed itself, to get custies to buy more. mostly, if people are lacing the weed with coke, it's probably on purpose and the person who laced it, most likely smoked it himself.
doubt the weed was laced. sounds like you just had a bad trip. sorry to hear that. my only suggestion? do lots of drugs, so you can discern between them. also, if you smoke lots of weed, you'll eventually be able to tell the difference between flushed, non flushed, chemical ridden crap(non organic), and other stuff.
