Okay. So, basically the idea is this. You can't really EVER be sure that all the people around you in the world are thinking thoughts like you are. So, we could conclude that maybe from a certain point in your life you were in an accident and from that point on has all been a comatose dream. So you've invented the world you live in. All the people, the things, the celebrities are all creations of your own. Your mind is alone in this fantasy world.

Would we stop what we are doing? We seem to be wired to 'get things done' even if there isn't anything that needs doing. Maybe those buddhists and so-called enlightened people know something.
