Hey, im an Irish Student, looking into coming to chicago on a j1 so i can study in uni in chicago for one semester. Only problem is, im just 19, and being irish, most of my socialising is based around alcohol. So is it really worth my while going to the states for 4 months to not be able to drink? I could leave it until im in my third year, when i will be 21. What do you guys think?
I'm sure you could manage without drinking alcohol... An opportunity to broaden horizens is always great! I say go for it... and really its not hard to get alcohol at college, if that be your desire
