if you were getting drafted

would you go, or would you rather goto jail for 5 yrs?

 

I'd get preggers. I'm a woman I shouldn't have to go to war and because of that I shouldn't have to go to jail either.

If it ever came to it... there are lots of kind brothers and sisters up in Canada that would welcome others into thier homes

 

i'm probably high on the draft list because of the school i attend. i'd pick up my commission and become and officer. a good amount of my friends will be joining after graduation. and i won't abandon them - i will not be fighting for the gov't or country at that time, i will be fighting for them. they are my brothers and i will fight for them even if i don't believe in what the country is fighting for.

 

That's basically what I did. Right now my second year in the Israeli army is supposed to be beginning. Due to a high army placement score, I would have surely been placed in a fighting division. Instead, here I am in rainy Arkansas, and I cannot go back to Israel until I am 27 if I want to avoid a prison sentence.

 

Well, of course I would prefer neither of the options, but if I had to then I would choose jail.
