or goodwill. even when I have the money I don't quite understand laying it down on MOST namebrand clothes(oh, there are exceptions).

I would probably spend a small fortune on dozens of new bathing suits from some surf shop out here though, yes, yes I would.

I would fix that. I used to be a personal shopper for high end's men clothing at Nordstrom's. It sucked, but I learned so much. I love dressing men.
Old t-shirts and a nice pair of dark blue levi's are very sexy and just as wonderful as a tie and cashmere sweater. As logn as you have your own style, it doesn;t matter what you wear.
As for me, my clothes are so big people think they're maternity and I look like crap.
I have a lot of clohtes that are too big for me, but still have the tags on. I am wonderign if I should sell them on Ebay? I have some coach bags that I also can;t stand anymore. I was goign to donate them, but if I sold them, I could buy fabric with the money in my paypal and I wills ell my body ont eh street for fabric.

there's this vix swimsuit that was exclusively at victoria's secret that was gorgeous... it's not on sale now. I almost bought it but I just couldn't bring myself to throw down $120 for a suit

Hmm, if all my clothes disappeared, I'd wanna buy typical hippy clothes.
From Bond St in Ldon and all the Italian designer outlets around FFlorence etc.( Ok I lied about the hippy bit..:p)

Because I used to work in the clothes business I know what clothes cost wholesale, so I used to have a reluctance to pay "full full price".
But nowadays I realise its often "u get what u pay for".

What do I like?Dressing up?Italian brands.Things that fit well, and will last.
But also my own take on things.Things that say "identity" not just "designer".
Its about how things are mixed up.What they represent.Attention to detail ,but fun and not taking everything too seriously.
Depends where I am, and what for.

  14. You don't want to change your style even if your a different size. Don't loose your identity. Good quality second hand stores are brilliant. I have 3 ways of aquiring clothes The one just mentioned, gifts and as a last resort I buy them

If money was not an object, DEFINITELY there. I love a lot of their clothes, but they're pretty expensive, because they're handmade (sans the t-shirts). It's the coolest little headshop. :D

Also, Bealls is where I get my pants, capris, and dresses most of the time. I'd link you, but their website kind of sucks. I got three formal dresses there for $15 each.

I pretty much just buy what I like, though. I dress like a hippie, lol. I also wear a lot of camo.

 You have a Bealls, too? That's the only place my parents still have a credit card, so they are super nice and take me shopping when there are good sales.
