If I just walked into a quickie mart or liquor store

and brought a 40oz beer like steele reserve to the counter, and try to buy it would they ask for id do you think?? Im 20 and a half btw, and i have pretty excessive facial hair, people have mistaken me for looking 22-24 before. I also have kinda long hair not sure if that even matters, but yeah should i cruise down to town and give it a shot u guys thinhk??

A legal drinking age of 21 seems fucking absurd to me.

It's 18 here but I'm 23 and get asked for ID almost every time. They have signs up saying if they doubt you're over 25 you'll get asked for ID. I understand them questioning those buying massive amounts, but I usually just want a bottle of wine with my food shopping.

yeah its pretty fucked up deal... soo i went down there 2 miles away down a steep ass blind ass mountain 12 at night just now... and i get to quick stop, surely enough JUST my luckk. Fucking PIG cop is just parked RIGHT in front of the quick stop. Holeeyy shit perfect timing.
so i decide to take my adventure further, and go on another half mile to try out safeway. There was like 4 people in the big store, twas really quiet and everything, and it seemed perfect, there was a chill ass looking indian guy at the cash register, and everything seemed perfect like it would work. so im waiting in line with my steele reserve and my money because i am a legit customer, then the chill indian says the fucking words right when im next. "can i see your id please" I just think FUCKKKKK and was like nah i dont got it. He was like sorry man then i cant sell you this. Wow.
If ANYthing is gonna make me an alcoholic in life, i SWEAR its because of society, and how they DEPRIVED me of my beer for so long because of BOGUS ass laws that NOBODY agrees with except for DOUCHE BAG FUCKS. that will wrap up the conclusion to my rant.

most smart places will ask for a form of identification. no matter what age you are, they can get in trouble. Even if you are 30 years old and the place does not ask for your ID, then they will get in trouble. Companies will hire undercover buyers to go around every couple months and see what places to not follow the rules.

places can get closed or get a huge fine if caught.

 

I would offer someone a couple of bucks to buy it if i was desperate.
