I was thinking about this last night, at the end of the month, I could by myself I really fucking nice pair of sunglasses, like top of line ray bans or something.. EVERY MONTH!.. I think Im going to take a break, cause I need some nice clothes.. haha

 

i haven't bought any since may and its been great. every now and then i get smoked out and just a few hits gets me ripped. i have noticed my money savings change entirely. i've always been good at saving my money but once u stop buyin your habits everything can change.

 

I would NOT give up pot for sunglasses. Well, maybe if I lived in AZ or SoCal or FL...No, even then, I would NOT give up pot for sunglasses!

I could never justify spending $250 on sunglasses (Ray Bans are $250 here) I bought generic chinese Ray Bans look-a-likes for $15 from a chinese guy downtown. They're dark, that's all they need to do.

Giving up the benefits of marijuana for the vain pursuit of sunglasses and brand name clothing doesn't seem worth it at all.

 

Get out in the desert and you will find that good quality sunglasses are not a "vain pursuit"...but you can find tools not toys, as they say, for less than you will pay for the Ray-Ban name.

Or, you can smoke pot, get all squinty eyed, and achieve the same effect.

 

My brother bought a pair of 200 dollar sunglasses when he got put on salary and lost the damn things the 2nd day he had them haha!

 

Yeah people take their sunglasses off and lose them all day, including myself, which is why I don't buy any except the cheapest nowadays. I'd rather spend my money on a nice pair of regular glasses, but then again I wear glasses all day every day so it is a reasonable purchase.

I can relate to wanting to increase my savings though and cutting back on weed, shit I'm about to smoke my last bowl of dank and not buy any for at least the rest of the week, something unheard of from me for like the past two years lol
