Ideas for a new job??

I need a new job...... and I have no idea where to start or what im looking for or what I dont want to get involved in one of those corporate call center type jobs I just dont know what i want.... any ideas??

How about taking care of people? I take care of people in wheelchairs who live in a medical group home. These people don't have families and need lots of love and care from hippies like us!!!

^ you truly are a good person for doing that... and something like that might be fullfilling for sure although the record store would be good to with my obsession with music, I just dont know very many self owned stores around here and im not interested in working at some huge chain and listening to "usher" all day.

Nah, I'm kidding. I pretty much agree with valleytravellin. It may not sound exciting at first for there is a great sense of self contentment you can get from the job.

If you're looking to do a record store job, move to a college town where there are independent record stores... they greatly prefer musically obsessed people.

 

or chicagoland. we have tons of rock record stores where they only play good music, and sell cds used between 1.99 and 7.89 for cingle discs. i love those stores.

 

I have been to Chicagoland and see what you are saying... The only place with a denser concentration of music stores are in Northern California/Bay Area.
