oh, and im going down to some amish restaurant tomorrow to see if theyre hiring. cuz theyd hire people my age :H
im going to try to save money for a good digital camera (400/500 dollars... which is above average but not the best...) and a cheap, used, good manual 35mm camera.
they are too nice, at my Aunt's cabin in Eerie (how the fuck do you spell that?) there are Amish people and they are all so fucking nice... they are like a traditional version of Mormons
I was going to do something similar once.. But I'm too lazy... A good fiml camera isn't too expensive, but factoring in the continuing cost of film and such, it would be probably be cheaper in the long run to get a good digitral, like $1,000+ range. At least that's what I would do if I ever got around to it. I'd be happy as hell with a D70.
I'll sell you a Canon 300D 6.1MP w/ EFS 18-55mm for $500. It's a really great camera and it's in good shape. I'm just a little desperate for cash right now. I'd be happy to send pictures, specs, or samples.
The camera is only 20% of the buisness in my eyes. It's all about skill, vision, and timing. I have been able to take some impresive photos with a cheap digital:
my digital is 3.2 megapixels as well, but im convinced its complete crap. Most of the photos just arent clear at all. observe:
Try adjusting the focus settings. If not, then buy a stand; maybe your hands shake a lot while you take the picture. Increasing the MP won't do much difference. A camera with high MP is only truly good for taking close zoom pictures in high resolution. Distance shots are not much affected by the megapixels.
