I think I am scarred...

NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART!!!!

So I am sitting here, posting & flipping through Hipfora land when I get a rumbly in the tummy. I grabbed the granola mix I made yesterday that was sitting on my bed...sealed. I start eating several mouthful's when I finally looked down.


It was crawling with tiny, tiny ants...

Naturally I spat the mix out (felt guilty because I know I ate quite a few of the ladies...I mean this thing is CRAWLING with them).

But the thing is - the mix was on my bed, so I should see some ant's on the bed. But there are none. So something tells me they came with one of the packages.

And now I am freaked out and seriously want to puke. This isn't the first time I found crawly things in food I have eaten. I need to pay more attention.

So that's my story.

Vegetarian, but yeah. I found that ironic myself.

 

i thought it was going to be more serious.

but that sucks.

insects suck.

 

I love ants...just not..in..my..food...

in jr high, one of my friends bought a blueberry muffin from the cafeteria and it had a fly in it

thats not safe but the lil bugs could be good for you if you dont eat meat you need protein right

I suppose it's better than mealworms? They love oatmeal, eh?

I thought it tasted a little sweeter.



That was just wrong (of me). I am going to go brush my teeth now and toss the contents of the container outside.

yeah, i don't think i could ever eat a bug knowingly(not that you did).

i don't really like bugs, i can pick them up and the like, i just think eating one would be over the top.

 

you'd be suprised what you can eat.

 

if put in certain circumstances, i'm sure.

 

like if you're on fear factor

 

im eating a bunch of invisible matter right now floating in front of me,, yummmm... a good spoonful makes me tummy yummy. but put a bug (the bug looks ugly) in meh spoon... *eeek*, what if it were invisble and without taste... sure it wouldnt matter... but the bug is ugly, its not ugly, i mean, im uglier then it, but i create the illusion of it being ugly and yucky poor bug, i see it as such a freak.

 

I'd never make it on Fear Factor. Veggie part aside.




You couldn't pay me enough to do something like that on purpose.

my friend andy has really bad luck with cockroaches. he's found them in his cereal bowl before.. even in a cheez-it box [after he had bitten into it.. GROSS]

I should consider myself lucky then...

haha that wouldve sucked if they were fire ants imported from somewhere.
