I need some advice

Ive spent the last hour or so education myself about the goings on of the US gov. and I really find it to be appalling. Its actually the only thing I can think of taht actually makes me significantly angry. I never watch the news and try to avoid the trashbin of mass media, but should I read this sort of stuff or not (news section of the website for example)?

I feel like its sort of good to know, but reading it all the time seems to be unhealthy

How would anything ever change if people remain ignorant to the corruption and wrongdoings of our government?

I know its frustrating, and I hate seeing that shit, and knowing how limited my power is in terms of changing shit. But thats the point; we CAN change it.

What pisses me off more is how many people our age don't even give a shit... Having so much technology is crippling our ability to be outspoken, and I think the government definitely loves that. They can get away with anything they want when they dumb us down with iPods and YouTube...

Basing all your facts off of one highly slanted website is incredily naive.

I suggest if you want to get your FACTS your branch out far beyond the internet and get politically involved. There is knowing your rights, and going out and defending them.

 

Alcohol is a huge way they dumb you down. Ciggarettes are the way they control you. Did you know that dentists used to put a mercury compound in fillings in your teeth?? My mom had hers removed today. Mercury gives you brain damage!!!!!! WHAT THE FUCK???? It is in the top 3 most poisounous substances.

 

nah nah, Im not trying to say I would be reading that site as my source of news, but just a different sort of source aside from CNN and fox and other such equally slanted sources as this webiste. I don't really know, Ive never cared to much about politics and thats really what this is all about

google.com/news is pretty useful if you like reading the news. It has all of the major headlines of the day plus the search feature. What I like about Google News is that it aggregates all of the stories regarding a certain subject, so it is an easy way to find coverage of the same thing by multiple newspapers.

 

I have a great respect for you as a person and what you have to say, but as far as being paranoid goes I would have to say that since Ive started smoking I feel I have been far less paranoid than I used to be. What specifically makes you think Im becoming paranoid? Simply because if I am in fact paranoid that would help me realize it.

But the weird thing is I actually partially agree w/ the first thing you said about feeling liberated by breaking the law. I actually feel like alot of teenagers feel that way, but I certainly don't think that weed is something used as mind control by the gov

definitley, she even knocked a year off my
probation during the session.
Hopefully the PA probation officer lets the
fact that I sublease slide and I can remain
in my current residence.

Im used to getting screwed by now, one more
