any suggestions? in my present collection, among other things I've got Harry Chapin Beatles Oysterband Old Crow Medicine Show AC/DC billy joel bob marley The Band CCR Eagles Flogging Molly Mad Caddies Streetlight manifesto The Skatalites Gaelic Storm Jethro Tull Kingston Trio Leadbelly Manfred Mann Neil Diamond Paul Simon Pink Floyd Queen Grateful Dead Buck-O-Nine Bad Manners Clancy Eccles Dance Hall Crashers Fishbone The Madness The Mighty Might Bosstones The Suicide Machines Steely Dan Supertramp The Byrds The Clash Not a complete list, but I think enough to give you an idea of what to suggest to fill out my library, and throw into a playlist.
Built to Spill, Two Gallants, Eek-A-Mouse, The Expendables, and you are missing some hip hop so throw in The Pharcyde and some Gangstarr.
The fact that you have the Beatles, The Band and the Grateful Dead impressed me. Try some Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.
have those, just didnt' list them (I figured byrds would point to them) have those, also some good clapton that harshes my groove downloading now.
most people. especially most people on here. personally i can't stand the dead anymore. boring as hell. but i used to like them a lot, and i dont know anyone who hasn't enjoyed them at one point or another, and many of my friends are avid fans. classic rock never went way any more than any other music did. its really no more out of the ordinary to find a kid that likes the grateful dead than it is to find a kid who likes....say.....tool. theres tons of them out there. not EVERYONE. but lots of them
having 23 days of music helps any particular thing from getting stale, it does happen, usually when I cycle an 8 hour playlist for a month, but there is enough that I'm pretty okay on that front. I can say there is stuff I don't like as much as I used to.
