I'm at college, living in a dorm (blech) and the only pets we can have our fish. I miss my kitties soooo much! I can't wait to go home this weekend so I can be around animals again I'm personally acquainted with seven cats and I love them all to death... some live at my mom's house and some at my boyfriend's mom's house and one of them my boyfriend's parents are holding for me until i can get an apartment. We rescued him from a parking lot a week beofer we moved down to college so they agreed to take care of him until we can get an apartment next year. Oh I miss my kitties!! Any sympathizers?
Aww poor you *hugs* I'm living at home while at uni (three years, starting on Monday) It's the nearest university to my home anyway. But I couldn't bear to leave my babies. Casey is even living in my room right now.
I know the feeling. We're not even allowed fish, let along Hamsters and Guinea Pigs, so they have all stayed at home. I'm especially worried as one of my Guinea Pigs is very old, and the Hamster isn't exactly young (not by my hamster standards anyway) and I'd hate anything to happen to them whilst I was away. I'm hoping to pop home about once a month though to see them and take some dirty clothes for my mum to wash. I''ll be honest, its the fish I'm most worried about though, as the Hamster and Pigs are quite easy to look after, but fish keeping is a bit of an art, and I have quite an atachment to my 10+yr old Carp as keeping it that long seems quite an achievement.
actually i was just thinking about how i miss my cats and then i saw this thread. what a coincidence..but then again im always thinking about my kitties. i know exactly how you feel- i'm in my first year of college and living away from home. i'm used to having a cat near my face or feet when i go to bed, or when i am sad or a boy breaks my heart i could always go squeeze one of my kitties. but here i cant. i miss them so much. i actually just found out yesterday that my oldest cat died. i am so sad and can't stop crying.
