they do. Guards are only there to insure nobody escapes.. most jail operations without inmate workers, would really cost the taxpayers money.. large scale correctional institutions have plumbers, carpenters, electricians, painters, roofer, auto repair technicians, farmers, grounds keepers that are all inmates. Many a times, only one correctional supervisor watching 20 inmates, also while unarmed, just like a regular outside the wall job..

Some jails have ice cream ..

The final verdict is up in the air...for...like forever. If the VP finds out, I'm good as gone. If he doesn't, I'm fine. We'll see. They have 90+ stores to take care of these days, but we're one of the first stores, so they keep their nose in our business a little more than others. But VP is traveling, so he probably won't hear of it. But yeah, if Pizza Hut calls, they'll have to offer me a lot less for me to turn it down, lol. Daniel says PH was the best job he ever had. I could use a happy job.

I had a great job when I first started working, I had to walk/patrol the perimeter of a aep coal fired electric power plant. Night shift, so you never saw anyone, no bosses cause they were all on dayshift.....Back then though I only got paid 1.70 an hour...;-)

 

Well the people that have more power than the corporate manager doesn't really make a big difference to me.. So it goes from ms. jeanie (corporate manager), then to ms. judy my manager, then to the assistant manager, then the 3rd keys, then us.

Theres one guy that has a room full of every industries of houston goodwill on camera.. my boss ms. judy and ms. jeanie can watch us on their cell phones, computer and television from home and they really do. Its kinda creepy sometimes.

But my boss is always in a bad mood so shes always a complete bitch.. we have this saying when she gets in a good mood "ms judy either got some booty or had a dooby... or both." But other than that i work with really great people... I have fun on the floor unless we get too overstacked with racks and totes.

 

me too. seems like every job's been a little bit worse than the one before it.

 

Haha, god, that sucks if that's any prognosis for the rest of my career. Cuz my first job was fucking awful...and this one might be a tad worse by now...

 

The reason some people's jobs seem to be getting worse is that they let themselves be worn down... Things that you wouldn't accept at the last job, seem a little more acceptable after you've been out of work (or worried you will be).

 

Damn dude, after the abuse I've endured, I can't imagine much worse anyone else could do to me by now. Haha,
