"Pedosexuality" is a sexual orientation like homosexuality or any other. Except that, of course, actual sexual physical contact is very likely to be harmful to the underage object of affection. Pedosexuals live unhappy and unfulfilled lives. There is no reason to categorize them as monsters -- as long as they do not act forcefully on their inclinations.

It is not okay to HATE people who are born with this particular challenge.

 

I think it has to do with some ancient software left over in our heads from the caveman days. Perpetuation of the species type stuff. The need to mate with the youngest and strongest.

Like any old software, it may still work to some degree, but corruption creeps in so that some of it is misread and causes problems in the modern day.

Morality came later, after you didn't have to struggle so much with survival.

People are different. People have different instincts. Doesn't mean it's anything to do with evolution or prehistory.

And what really pissed me off is that you claim to know the origins of morality, which is ridiculous.

Morality is a higher form of thinking. The concept of which did not exist in early primitive man.

Survival comes first. You can't sit around and muse on much when starvation follows you like a shadow. And what time you don't spend hunting for food is spent running from things that would make you food.

Not until the first tribes formed did any kind of deeper comtemplation occur. With strength in numbers, you can present a defense against predators. You can also share resources. So this takes care of basic survival. Now you've got a little time on your hands to sit in the shade and think.

Morality was born at this time, in a tribal/family setting. You don't need morals if you're by yourself. It only concerns other people and your interaction with them. It was started to keep the peace within these groups. You shouldn't steal. You shouldn't commit murder, etc. It has no meaning by yourself out on the plains somewhere.

Morality starts with compassion. Learning to become compassionate with others and how they feel about things. A consensus forms. People start to agree or disagree over it. After that, it degrads into a power trip with some. Now you've got laws. Now you need someone to enforce those laws. Now you need someone to carry out punishment for breaking those laws.

Both politics and religion were also born around this time. Both embrace the concept of morality and laws born out of it.

Such humble beginnings though.

"Instincts" that you refer to, are embedded. You don't have to think about it. They're hardwired into your mind. It wasn't until you learned to think that they became a problem.

Now, people think preteen sex is wrong. But a million years ago, they were fair game. We never deleted the instincts. We just covered them over with a veneer of "civilization".

A REAL thin veneer.

That all makes perfect sense, except that none of it is provably true. We don't even know the origins of man at this point, let alone how he developed into a thinking, moral creature.

There have been studies of Apes in the wild, they have empathy as we have seen this in other species.
Why would you be pissed about something so trivial, My man Xenon has made so many intelligent posts relating to the subject of evolution and the existence of reality to the human species I dont dismiss much he says.
