Man I used to love those trolls with the colourful hair when I was a kid. I used to buy the Trolls magazine. There was a story where two of them made a newspaper and after that I made a newspaper. Had to go around my household covering stories. It was in that magazine that I also learned the recipe for cinnamon toast.

    always good to have friends,

one big "however, caveat, but", though,
is sometimes people want you to think they're friends in order to recruit you into things,
that if you understood up front what those things were, you'd be embarrassed to be involved in.

things you'd otherwise consider harmful to others or to your surroundings
or even things that might get you into trouble with sometimes perfectly sensible and rational laws.

i mean most of this is probably obvious to most people,

and the same thing goes for each of our own selves, we might be doing that, any of us, to someone else too.

so what i'm saying is while its a better thing then its opposite, it isn't always worth more then everything else.

i mean its worth more then accumulating or possessing or then everything having to be owned or any of that,
its just, nothing more important then the kind of world we create, at least as long as we have to live in it,

and even if you were in some kind of heaven, it wouldn't stay one long, no matter what kind of god or gods it had,
if people didn't pay attention to nor care about consideration and logic,

and its beyond me how they'd enjoy it without their own imagination either.

now cats, stray feral cats, that don't have to depend on you in any way,
if they befriend you, those are the best kind of friends to have,
because they don't try to talk you into anything,
well except maybe giving them some crunchies and some water to drink.

mice are ok too, but its usually difficult to have both at the same time.

Mice are okay, but they tend to cause trouble in the kitchen. Rude houseguests who nibble holes where they shouldn't. Shrews, on the other hand, seem to leave no mess or disturbance at all. I'm always happy to see a shrew guest.

  11. There was a stray kitty outside. I'm thinking about getting a cat when I move into my new place. Maybe I should have picked that one up; my friends were telling me to. But a kitty likes to roam free. It's getting cold, though, and these kitties are going to need homes. I'm probably going to get a kitty.

Yeah I'd like to live with a cat. If I could be sure about birds. Maybe if you introduce them to chicks when they are kittens they might not kill them later...

  13. It all depends on the cat and the bird. Some cats and some birds will become friends in their captivity.

those little guys always like to scoot around and hide behind or inside of something.
understandable, but they seldom let you get a good look at them.

and as you say, kitchens are not good places to let them colonize.
if cats or foxes or something eat them, that's part of nature.
i just don't like to see people kill anything they don't intend to eat,
unless its an insect or a microbe. i have no objection to other ways of preventing colonization.
(in the house i mean. out in the garden, anything that doesn't eat me is welcome)

yes i like voles too, but its been years since i've seen one.

    I like Spiders

  16. I once turned into Spider Man for a day.

I was reading a comic book and suddenly the page came to life. I threw it on the floor, and then the whole room began turning into a comic book. Suddenly Spidey was there! He said, "Here kid, take these," and tossed me a Spider Man uniform. "You're the webslinger tonight," said Peter Parker.

In this weird comic book world I had all the powers of Peter Parker. I saw Venom and I fought him. He's still out there, though. Then when the sun went down I came slinging back home, where Peter was waiting.

"Andy. Wake up, Andy." I woke up, and it was the real Spider Man!

I said, "Was it all a dream?"

And Spiderman said, "Was what a dream, webslinger?"
