Blockbuster! I'm so tired of renting some movie and the only version available is some edited version, like how they only had the rated version of Spun (in which they bleeped out curse words...)and only the edited version of Requiem for a Dream. Lets go burn it down! Whos with me?!?!?!
umm find another video store, like an independently owned one we had a really cool place called 49cent video that had a lot of funky films, unedited stuff, old things, even porn. Admittedly they closed down a few months ago because they weren't making any money but yeah... there are more movie rental places than just blockbuster
I thought that Spun was like that cuz that's how they made the movie. That's bullshit and makes me want to buy a real copy of it so i don't have that shit. That pisses me off. I bought it at blockbuster btw.
really? thats what i was kinda thinking, but my friend downloaded the movie and he said there were no such bleeps or anything.
I've never been to Blockbuster. Partially because the nearest one is an hour away. But that's good to know because we plan on moving to that town and we shall stick to small independently-owned stores for our movie rental needs. Here in the tiny town I live in, we've got one video store, and they're competing with Hastings Entertainment ten miles away and their prices are outrageous. Stupid chains making little businesses go crazy...
Blockbuster is weird. They will bleep out cuss words and cut scenes (without telling you) in some films, but they rent out some pretty uncut extreme Anime. I just use Netflix now, or I go to Hastings or Hollywood Video.
