i hate snow..

I mean i wouldnt hate it if this stupid country supplied enough salt to grit the roads. But no, because of the stupid snow and stupid unprepared people who run this country i may not be able to go to see Tommy Tiernan (irish comedian) tonight. I have paid the money for the tickets and the place are saying that because the show is still on, that they arent giving refunds.

They don't take care of the roads out here very well when it snows, either. I pray for a lot of light snow instead of a little heavy snow this year because heavy snow makes me miss work and I can't afford that.

 

I also hate snow. I have been known to say, "I do not do snow." I have never been in climate (before windchill factor) lower than 10 degrees F. Snow looks beautiful when it is freshly fallen in nature. But other than that it is messy, gross and dangerous. Please be as safe as possible driving out there.

Even though snow can be pretty, I'm not a fan of it either... One of the many reasons I moved to South Florida. =D

 

I hate it too. We only get snow maybe once a year and it's always fucked up. It just snowed here for 3 day and now it's gone so I'm hoping it's done for the year.

 

We're covered up here, i cant get back to my flat because there just running local buses at the moment and its still snowing heavy as i speak.

But really, last February it snowed 4 feet, I really want it to do that again sometime in my life. It was so fun.

 

I don't know how much it snowed here last year, but I do know that they closed our restaurant for two days because of it and my paycheck kicked my ass.

 

Snow sucks, the last December I lived up north we got 100 inches in just that month. I guess that's one good thing about the sunshine state.

 

You just need to change your mindset, you hate snow

but imagine spiders fell out of the sky, or tiny versions of Paris Hilton or something... and then perhaps the little Paris Hilton's climbed upon a spider each and took their attack on your town. That would be pretty awful, I think.

I moan and complain about snow and cold. I really do not mind the snow but here the season of winter seems so long. If it was shorter, I would be happier about it all.

Winter from Dec 20th until Feb 28th. I could go for that.

 

Haha, that makes me feel like a whiny bitch...our winters are generally about that long. Sure, it's chilly right now, but likely way warmer here than most places, and the snow storms don't really start until January/February. The latest we've ever gotten snow was May, though. Weeeeird day, it was in the 70's all day, beautiful, then night rolled around and it got a little breezy and then all of the sudden, giant flakes of snow. It was warm again the next day. Weird.

 

It's so purty though!

 

Here they are usually from mid November until the end of April. It is really unpredictable for weather.

This year so far has really been great but that does not mean I am not going to whine a little.

 

I love love love love snow!

I am always sad in winter that I live in a place that almost never snows. But when it does there is enough salt naturally on the roads that we don't even need to worry about it (also it generally only snows 1/2 inch...)
