amazing how a little wardrobe update can make you feel better. i'm not one for shopping, but my mom told me that my wardrobe was the most pathetic thing she'd ever seen. got a couple skirts, some shirts, some new pants and shoes that aren't falling apart. it's kinda nice. now i look in my closet and can't find a single thing that is acceptable anymore. yet yesterday it was fine. how does that happen? talk about a paradigm shift...

I totally agree with the others. It's amazing how a new outfit or two can boost your confidence.

If you are a disgusting fat-body, no outfit will look good.

Who says looking good=being thin? Aside from society that doesnt count. haha

New threads definitly can help one out of a frump hole for sure.

My old body doesn't exsist any more and I have this new expanding form, non of my clothes fit and I was starting to feel fizzled and flat. Like a 2 liter bottle somebody left the lid loose on ya know.

Thanks to Mom she sent me a much needed care package with cute maternity clothes that don't look like Omar the Tent Maker fashioned them. I am feeling renewed and a little sexier even with the hemroids!

Glad to hear your feeling brighter

I agree, KC. Esp when Im feeling low or upset, buying some new clothes really makes me feel a lot better. :) Hopefully the fact I have such an extensive collection of clothes and shoes these daus doesnt mean Im constantly unhappy, however!

i feel good when i go buy some new underware..don't have to sew up the holes anymore...

Buying clothes for me is a pain due to my height, even the petites are too long...im a freak...sometimes i get the hemmed but that gets annoying and blah blah blah...
    congrats on the new clothes!

i have really really long legs, and a really really short waist. i'm like a tiny potato on stilts. it's awful. but now my slothes actually fit! low rise pants come up to my waist properly, and i get them in long. the nice thing is the shirts are cut longer now. i don't look like i've been stunted.

****OMAR THE TENT MAKER?!!! ahahaha...my mom calls her clothes that all the time...hmmm....your descriptions sounds similar, too...mom, is this you? are you fucking with me?***

haha I have a BIG Dad and he always says Omar sews his clothes. I am starting to know the feeling:)

Laugh if you wil but Goodwill is my new fav store. There is no way I am paying retail for maternity clothes what a rip! Old navy has cute maternity stuff but you have to buy it online Hello I have never been pregnant how am I supposed to know what freaking size I am. I don't think there is a size for this shape. I have forud some cute shorts and stuff that fit the ever expanding mid section.

Just wait till I get my swim suit out!
