You walk into your bathroom, flip the switch, light bulb comes on you're thinking "sweet this lights gonna aid me in not pissing all over the toilet seat" Then it goes out as soon as it comes on and you think "Shit!" It Wouldn't be so bad, but the fucking light bulb teases you like "HaHA mother fucker I'm gonna fool you by working for a split second then I'm gonna blow out real quickly and leave you in DARKNESS HaHa" You just no too that all the other ones are gonna blow to cause you put them all in around the same time. I should stop being so damn cheap and start buying the higher Wattages. I'm short too I have to grab a chair to change almost any light bulb in the house.
I hate when I turn a light on during a storm and it goes out... I am scared to turn lights on during storms now because I went to the bathroom a few nights ago and it was storming pretty bad, I flipped the switch on and it caused the light to burn out. I screamed and just stood there because I thought I had gotten struck by lightning and electrocuted from the switch at the same time. I refused to even go to the bathroom because I was already scared to go to the bathroom during a storm because I don't want to be hit by lightning while peeing. I now use a flashlight during storms unless the light is already on. So yeah I agree.
Yeah, but when the wick (I don't think I spelled that right) goes out it isn't like I can run to the store and buy one. Plus I got a hyper dog running around my house. He's an idiot and would probably set himself on fire the second I turn my head.
Paste the candles on the cieling, and put plates under them to catch the wax... then you could get frustrated everytime the wind blows out a candle. Today's lesson: Everything can frustrate one, if one lets oneself get frustrated.
I know what you mean... When I leave plastic bags out my cat always gets it's head stuck in the handle...animals just like to get in trouble. lol But if that happened to your dog you could just throw some baking soda on him...or is it baking powder? I think its baking soda...yeah the stuff that keeps the fridge smelling fresh and the milk tasting like milk. Baking soda is very multipurposeful.
Yeah I also love doing that. The lights go out here very often, so I get to do that alot... I love the feeling
why not just let your eyes get used to the relative dark you'd be surprised how much light there really is when you let your eyes develop night vision? that or just sit so you can't miss anyway? i used to live where the power went off every winter at least twice. i loved it. of course that was before this internet. candles ARE cool as are karosene lamps in either case putting a used and cleaned aluminum pie plate behind them increases the amount of light they throw more then doubling it =^^= .../\...
I only got a red mark when I was playing with a red candle and left the wax on too long. lol I just used concealer. If anyone tries it lol remember to not breathe out of the part thats covered...I did that when I had wax on my nose and I sucked some pieces right in...took me about 30 minutes to blow them back out.
