I feel like who Neil Young is singing about in his 1970 song "Southern Man".

No, because of my intense and harsh reactions.
There was no slave whipin' in 1970.

Instead of black people it's everyone to me, doesn't matter what color, it's not the racial part of the song that applies to me. That southern rage and slow change.
