And I think people throw it around way too casually without really considering the weight of its meaning. When you're angry at something or someone, i can understand wanting to put your fist through a wall, or that person's face....but hate is a very serious thing. So before you decide that you hate something, think about it.... and think about this : If we want the world to know, we won't let hatred grow - put a little love in your heart
ok yes, there is a place for hate. And there are worse things out there than hate but I'm talking about when people say....I hate my life. Or junk mail, or a tv show or a movie or something....I mean c'mon. Let's love and hate realistically I dont know, it works just as well to say I don't like something. I'm not trying to take away anyone's right to hate whatever they want.
eh, it's just yet another word that's been twisted and corrupted and overused by speakers of the english language. kinda like gay or ****. or even love, people throw that around too much without thinking (albiet it has less negatively weighted effects). i guess it's just easier than saying "i stronly dislike..."
I agree with you rainbowrandolph. I don't like that word either. I can see it being used for such things as terror/war/hurting our children/fear. But for it to be thrown around so casually I don't necessarily agree with. It is a serious word. People can get their points across saying they don't like or don't agree with something. Hate just sounds so evil. This is just my opinion.
Etah? confused? I agree however. Hate is not a good word to throw around. And saying you hate someone...that has to be one of the worst things you can say...a blow to the heart. But for the most part, how can we know what hate is anymore than we know what love is?
What is tea cake? Okay, I'll bend my rules: I hate the way brocolli tears my stomach apart everytime I eat it. I like to eat it too.
You crack me out how your so happy all the time, I think you are gunna go postal one day and kill everyone, personally.
I crack me up too but thats all part of bein' a peanut. I don't EVER foresee that happenin. Why is it hard for you to believe someone could be happy? I am not happy all the time. I have bad moments too. I just don't express them as much on the threads.
Etah but, if you mix 'em up it also says, "Thea" - which is probably how a toothless Hungarian would say "tea"... That also says a lot...
Its just a word... words have no inherent power. For example, I hate this fly buzzing round my room. Its annonying. I'd never tell my mom or my girlfriend I hate 'em, because it would hurt them... I told my best friend I hated him last week after he hit me for a new VW beetle... new models don't count. Words are meaningless... it all about context.
