but some of their songs are addicitive... how can I get myself to quit? Is there an organisation such as "Rammstein-Listeners-Anonymous" ?
I dont think there are such things as those groups but there songs are a bit addictive...i haven't listened to them in a long time tho.
Every now and then I crave their music. Couldn't really tell you why... but I also wouldn't say they are addictive.
My brother constantly listens to Rammstein. He assumes he's cool because he "learns" German from their songs. My point is that I don't like them.
I used to listen to songs like "Feuer Frei" and "Links 2 3 4" to pump me up when I was feeling down...
Yeah, some of their songs are rather energetic-sounding. I guess I was getting tired of constantly hearing them at a million decibels from across my house. Hah... flying baby shit.
Rammstein, yeah, they're good.. I like them, though I'm not their fan.. I learned german for 5 or 6 years, but never liked it..
You do know they're a bunch of commies right? And they're not too bad. Not really the best band in the world but there's worse.
They're from the DDR... They were oppressed by the commies, so they're not communists, they are leftists. "Links 2 3 4" is supposed to be a song to declare just that, but the military theme of the song got the band into trouble. It's a great song anyway.
i've never heard of rammstein...well maybe once...but not their music. kind of sounds like a metal band
yeah, Amerika is an anti-globalisation song, not all people who oppose globalisation are commies. In fact, a true marxist would be pro-globalisation. Moskau, is most likely non-political. Even if there was some political message I missed, I doubt that it extolls soviet communism.
Well they said it was a salute to communism themselves apparently. I think that like tohere people maybe they are aware that by being communist you DONT have to agree with the old USSR which was about as anti-communist as you can get.
