Ok at school, a good friend and we sometimes like give each other drugs and dont tell each other what they are, but only give em enough to get high once, so they dont kill themselves, and tell em how to comsume it. Well he gave me this baggy of this white powder, and we were doing a guess game. Well when i went home, i did a line, and I felt this rush, then my senses in my head started to get all messed up, and I felt stoned basically. It took me ten minutes to find my cell phone, and it was in a VERY obvious spot. So im like ok, this is weird. I tasted alittle, tasted nasty like a pill so i thought it was oxy contin(i have never did oxycontin but heard it makes u stoned), but it made my tongue tingle, but it wasnt numb so i know it isnt coke. And coke doesnt make you stoned though. So i finish off the stuff, watch TV and it wore off alittle over a hour later. So I goto school and I talk to him, I was like, dude i think thats oxycontin, he just gets a grin and laughs. Im like whats so funny, he said that was HEROIN. And I was like you are fuckin with me right? Because I live in a state where meth and coke and weed and shrooms is the thing here. Damn I never thought of myself tryin heroin. Kinda of a interesting story I'd like to tell. What do you guys think? hehe P.S. Dont bash me for trying heroin, that was 2 weeks ago and I dont even think about doing it again. So please dont be all parential on me, im just asking for opinions on the situation, not about my health. So o right post away! heheh
Sounds like a dangerous game to play with that particular friend. I won't judge, I've heard of people doing worse things than that, but I wouldn't advise it. And you do it at school? Damn. Could you imagine getting busted with heroin at school? What would you have said? "Um you see officer, I didn't know it was heroin because my friend and I play this game where we give each other random drugs and play the guessing game after we've done it."
yeah basically. Its a fun game, u dont know what to expect, to feel more energetic, or happy, or deppressed, or stoned, or euphoric. So yeah...hehe
That is a kinda interesting game. Your expectations and comfort level/boredom with a particular drug effects your experience with it. Not knowing what's coming could have interesting results.
Doesn't sound as if you enjoyed the heroin too much. They say it's supposed to be very pleasurable. Anyway, heroin is not as bad as the government and schools make it out to be. Withdrawal symptoms, for the few who do get addicted, are nowhere near as bad as they are portrayed.
I never tried Heroin. It doesn't sound that great 2 me (but thats just me). In my area, weed, crack, acid, and X r the thing. You can find anything and everything in Houston, but in my part of town that's what is around the most.
or maybe lsdseeker, is that u r getting a placebo effect when u know its heroin and convince yourself that you are having a good ass time. j/k The reason y all i was is stoned, tho i did feel like warmer, is that maybe its like coke, its always better the second time. hmm maybe thats whats goin on...
Hum, are you sure that was H?... H doesn't really get you "stoned" in my book. It just makes you feel reaaaaaaaly cosy and happy. It's a totally body high. Your mind mostly seems to function normally on it. Oh, well...
Yea ok, you can DIE from the withdrawals dumbass, your body is made to handle opiates and you get physically addicted. When you stop you get fevers that are so high you could die from that alone. Then you start getting blisters around your mouth and nose because your body is so hot, fever blisters. Your whole body just aches, and your mind goes crazy. The government doesn't have to portray heroin for me, the people who do it are proof alone.
Hmmm... I got that info. from Jacob Sullum's Saying Yes, who reported on the withdrawal symptoms of some people and on his investigations of what was written about opium use among the Chinese. The people who get symptoms as extreme as you describe are so few in number compared to those who have tried heroin and even among those who use it regularly that they can be described as the exceptions rather than the rule. Opium does not negate anyone's will. Anyone who gets to the point where he feels he will "die" by not having heroin is the real dumbass, and is perhaps blaming the drug for his own lack of self-contol. Who do you hang around with? Idiots with IQs below 85?
The problem with these types of forums is that all kinds of unsubstantiated crap is spewed by people based on anecdotes. "Heroin withdrawal is never fatal to otherwise healthy adults, but it can cause death to the fetus of a pregnant addict." Source: http://www.drugrehab.co.uk/FAQ-heroin.htm
Yea i wouldnt say that u will likely die from heroin withdrawel. but dude obviously u have no clue what bein hooked on smack is like. this is addiction on a whole diffrent level man. its not a fuckin joke, and to say the govt. is just making it seem so bad is shit. because when u see someone trying to break the habit or uve been one then u know wat its like. i was hooked on OC and withdrawel w/ that was a bitch, smack has fucked alot of people and put them to there grave. yea heroin is the best high ive ever had but at what cost. i doubt ill ever do it again and i got away w/ using.
No argument from me here. Still, those who are dumb enough to get addicted to heroin to the point that they completely lack discipline probably deserve to die. The world has enough idiots. Junkies are the reason why so many drugs are illegal and the government has decided what should be in our medicine cabinets. So many people use heroin and other drugs responsibly, but those maggots you see on TV -- lacking good jobs, brains, and living like parasites -- fuck it up for us all. They are the reason why responsible drug users have to deal with very negative stereotypes. They feed the Drug War. They are a small exception, but they do a lot of damage. You know, if you are/were an addict, you are a very small minority. Statistics show that most people who use heroin and other drugs do not become regular users, and even regular users do not become addicts. I will have to differ with some people, obviously. I say let's put the blame on people and not the drugs when they fuck up their lives. No drug can completely negate a person's free will, regardless of what the schools are teaching innocent young kids. I believe addiction is tough, and just about everyone is vulnerable. But a lot of information about addiction is simply exaggeration (as in the claim that withdrawal can make you die). Whatever the damage some drugs do, the Drug War which has the statist government in Washington telling us what we can and cannot put into our systems, is an obvious infringement on our freedoms that must be done away with. The government should not be babysitting people, nor forcing those busted with drugs into "rehab" when they are not even addicted, but use drugs rationally and with complete self-control.
Well hopefully the kid you got it from told you how much to do without killing your self. Opiate addiction is not fun, I have been addicted to OC a couple times and it wasnt to fun, havent done heroin yet but I really doubt I will unless I get it and know that I wont get it for a long time, cause knowing me ill want to get more and ill just be fuck I just do it a couple more time, that is how it starts.
Please Listen To Me. I Was Addicted To Heroin For A Very Short Time, But It Was Long Enough To Destroy My Life And Everything Good In It. Nobody Sets Out To Become A Junkie, At Least I Didn't, But It Happened, And It Happened Fast. I Turned Into A Complete Waste. Lying, Stealing, Whatever Just To Get That Next Bag. I Turned Into A Different Person, I've Been Off Of It Since February Of 2004, But I Am Still Trying To Clean Up All The Messes I Made. Heroin Ain't No Joke. It's Very Addicting And The Withdrawl Was So Bad. I Felt Like I Was Going To Die, At The Time..death Would Have Been A Relief, That's How Bad It Was For Me. I Can Only Speak For Myself. Maybe It Wasn't Quite As Bad For Other People. I'll Never Forget It And I Hope If Anyone Out There Is Thinking About "just Trying It" Please Don't. This Is A Powerful Drug And It Can Ruin Your Life And I Just Don't Want To See Anyone Go Through What I Went Through.
I may sound completely insensitive, and maybe I was meant to be a devil's advocate, but my research tells me that while addicts attract a lot of attention they are a tiny minority. Furthermore, the idea that people will become addicted to heroin or opium after a single try is absolutely false. If heroin is used with common sense I see no reason why it should not become legal and used by rational individuals for whatever purpose. Do I advocate using heroin multiple times a week? No. I think it's an issue of self-control. I have never done heroin although I have researched it. I haven't done a lot of things but I still hear things that contradict even mainstream information. I heard of a guy who stole things from his relatives (a friend of mine) to get high off of crack. I don't buy that it was the crack that made him do it. Yes, he seems to have been addicted, but the individual allowed himself to get to the point that he did. He wasn't the brightest bird either.
If heroin is used with common sense I see no reason why it should not become legal and used by rational individuals for whatever purpose. WHY WOULD YOU WANT HEROIN TO BE LEGAL? I'M SORRY, BUT THAT JUST SOUNDS CRAZY, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU SAY YOU HAVE NEVER TRIED IT. YOU HAVE NO FIRST HAND EXPERIENCE ON HOW ADDICTIVE AND DANGEROUS THIS DRUG IS. I SPEAK FROM EXPERIENCE. I WAS JUST GOING TO TRY IT, JUST ONCE, BUT IT TURNED INTO A NIGHTMARE THAT LASTED A LIL BIT LONGER THAN I HAD ORIGINALLY PLANNED. I'M CLEAN NOW, THANK GOD, BUT I LOST EVERYTHING BECAUSE OF THIS DRUG. I GUESS YOU WOULD SAY, I'M JUST WEAK AND COULDN'T HANDLE IT, BUT FROM WHAT I'VE SEEN OF HEROIN USERS, NONE OF THEM CAN HANDLE IT. IT'S NOT A RECREATIONAL DRUG LIKE COCAINE OR WEED. ONCE YOU START DOING IT, YOU HAVE TO KEEP DOING IT, WETHER YOU WANT TO OR NOT, BECAUSE YOU NEED IT TO KEEP FROM GETTING DOPESICK. IT'S A VICIOUS CYCLE, AND SPEAKING FOR MYSELF, IT WAS THE HARDEST THING I EVER DID , GETTING CLEAN I MEAN.. I DON'T THINK A DRUG THAT DANGEROUS SHOULD EVER BECOME LEGAL. JUST MY OPINION...
About a century ago opium was legal in the U.S., and only a small percentage of users were addicts. Statistics show that the vast majority of heroin users do not become addicts. Many who have done heroin at some point in their lives haven't done it in years. There are even people who do it regularly and live functional and productive lives. There are also people who have difficulties quitting cigarettes. They say nicotine is even more addictive than heroin (I'm not sure about that). Heroin is obviously far more potent than nicotine. Sorry, I don't believe that because a small minority lacks self-control that the vast majority should be punished in a free society. While your situation sounds painful, I do prefer to stick to scientific facts. Everybody's body is different. While heroin is not for you, others have found it a wondrous addition to their productive lives.
